Anderson Inn

Last weekend we celebrated my wife’s birthday (it was a big one!), and got two rooms for two nights. My daughter’s family stayed in the other room, and even though it was a rainy weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Anderson Inn. We knew from previous experience that they treat you right here, and truly go beyond expectations. They proved themselves again on our most recent stay. Every person on staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful. Even before we arrived, their extra attention to detail was apparent. Initially, none of the three bay front rooms was available. However, knowing that we were celebrating a very special occasion, I was contacted well in advance when one of these rooms opened (and I didn’t even ask to be notified if this happened!). My wife and I were able to spend our time in one of these beautifully accommodated bay front rooms. I venture to say that very few hotels would have gone out of their way to call us under similar circumstances. They made our stay a lifetime memory!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Anderson Inn. The room was clean, roomy, well appointed, and airy. Parking was plentiful, and the location was perfect. Staff was friendly and courteous. Next time we are in the area, we will stay at the Anderson Inn again.

First time guests - Everything about our stay was great. Easy reservation online, very friendly staff, location in the center of town - tons of restaurants and shops in walking distance, beautiful and comfortable room with everything we needed.

The Anderson Inn provides a wonderful lodging experience located on the harbor in Morro Bay. The attention to detail and stellar service makes this one of our favorite places to stay in the Central Coast. The room was clean and bright with comfortable bedding and seating. We were in the Portside room which faces the harbor. This room included a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. The balcony provided excellent views of the Morro Rock, sea lions and was a great spot to watch the otters. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent stay, excellent room. The view is amazing, watching sea otter mom and baby swim by! Love the bed, shower . location and quiet time. We stayed in the Starboard Suite! We will definitely be back!!!

Very nice room. Definitely same as or better than photos. I wanted to stay again but it was still. Night clerk was super nice and helped me with a specific issue I had. Really nice place to stay. Super comfortable.

We spent a weekend at the Anderson Inn in late October 2023, staying in the Starboard Suite. It was fantastic in every way. The room was spacious, in first class condition and very comfortable. It had a great view of the waterfront and Rock from the deck and when sitting inside. The staff was wonderful. I highly recommend The Galley Seafood Grill and Bar on the first level - excellent food and service. We will definitely be back.

What a find....Anderson Inn is such a cute and picturesque place. We were driving from Yosemite National Park to Santa Monica and decided to make Morro Bay our middle-of-the-trip stopover. We were here for only one night and should have stayed for another night or so. Jeff and Cindy greeted me at check-in and the most loveliest people you will ever meet. My sister- and brother-in-law were with us and they had the full panoramic waterfront room. (We had booked 2 rooms and both rooms have balconies and view to the water.) The rooms were clean and just adorably decorated. Lots os restaurants, gift shops, coffee places within walking distance. Beautiful sunset against Morro Rock. It is just a beautiful backdrop to the Inn.
