Very loud on the main road cars racing all night no air conditioning units just a small plug in heater wouldn't want to stay in summer
Spa pool was cold more than hot.
Nice walk from there to beach though x

Overall really enjoyed our stay. Very close to beach and mountain. Washer/dryer huge bonus. About a 10 minute walk to main restaurant area.
Only complaint was no air conditioning and the floor fan provided was broken. Ceiling fans would be a huge and simple improvement. Fortunately the weather was cool enough at night to be able to sleep comfortably.

We loved our time in Mt Maunganui!
We loved Mount Maunganui, and the location of Atrium Apartments is ideally located between the cute town and the Mount, as well as steps from the beach. Our room had views of both the bay and the ocean/beach. The amenities were great and we made use of the pool, hot tub, gym, sauna and the walkway to the beach. This location is very close to the trailhead to hike to the top of the Mount, which we enjoyed doing in the mornings, and we loved some beach time in the afternoons. Our apartment was well stocked with kitchenware and the layout was great. The bed was a little “soft” for my preference, but everything overall was very clean and comfortable with great views. We would return.
