Great value with the dinner and breakfast included. Spectacular views all around, also from the pool area.Stayed for one night and enjoyed the pool area with good cocktails and amenities with great king size sun beds with curtains. Gym was used by my son who said it was good.

Never did my two daughters and I expect such a beautiful hotel. It is in the most wonderful setting in the mountains, with sea views. We loved every minute of our stay. I had my eightieth birthday and the waitresses when they found out they put a candle on a cake and sang happy birthday! It made my day. The staff, so lovely, also the lovely drivers of the mimi bus, wonderful food beautiful bedroom, cleaned every day, so appreciated. What more can we say it was beyond our expectations👍Pauline Kirstein and Faye Ronketti.

I returned this week from Corfu after a lovely five day stay at Pantokrator Hotel. We were moved to a room further up the hill with stunning views. The food at breakfast and dinner was plentiful and varied and what was most noticeable was the attention the waiting staff gave to service. Towels changed daily and beds made up. Lots of wasps but that’s just the season. Quite steep walk up from the Mai. Road but sometimes the shuttle bus is there to take you back to reception. At this time of year it was end of season so the area was very quiet and not much else to do in Barbati. We had a lovely day trip to Kassiopi which has more open at end of October. Swimming pool was great and the views again wonderful. Easy to get a sun lounger at this time of year. The staff were so obliging and friendly and this is the hotels greatest strength! Family feel and plenty of space. Felt more like a four star than three star hotel. Our first room was not the best view right behind the kitchen but Georgia helped us and the new room was fab. Thanks to all staff last week!

This is going to be an honest and lengthy review as many do not give an accurate or detailed picture of what to expect from this hotel and Tui. We stayed at the end of September, beginning of October 2023 and it was the best weather we’ve ever had in Corfu. We always visit this time of year, and each visit has got hotter and hotter. We travelled with Tui and more of them later. The Pantokrator is a beautiful hotel. It is immaculate in every way. It is spotlessly clean everywhere (except for a large cobweb in our room which I noticed halfway through but not by the housekeeping unfortunately. I’ve no problem with cobwebs but they need to check above eye level) and the staff are well trained and keep the place looking lovely. The décor is modern and contemporary in a sleek and minimalist way, especially the dining room which is fabulous. The lobby is spacious with lots of seating and the verandah balcony had lots of sofas and chairs, and a pool table at the end. The bar is roomy and modern with plenty of room for the occasional entertainment. We were very impressed with the food especially as the evening meal was not catered to the British or German palate (the main guests here). Breakfast was a mixture of hot (bacon, eggs, sausage, beans etc) and cold (croissants, pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurt etc) so there was something for all tastes. Dinner was completely Greek which we thought was excellent. Every night there was a different choice (I have posted some menus) and it was always delicious. The dining room staff are excellent and well trained. They were mostly young women, and they were polite and happy and always had a cheery smile. Plates were collected promptly, and drink orders were taken quickly and efficiently. So, yes there are cats and wasps but that is Greece. You can ignore them both and they’ll go away. But we had no issues at breakfast as I would open a pot of honey and put it at the end of the table, and they’d swarm on it and leave us alone. And there are only two cats that patrol the dining room, the other seven or eight wait patiently outside on the edge of the car park and wait to be fed by someone. Cat food is available at the small shop and by day 2 I was buying biscuits and feeding them outside as that way they all got something. The main bar is open in the evenings and has some entertainment. We had a singing duo and a Greek night and there is a big screen for sports on other nights. The service is good either from the bar or you can sit and wait for table service. Prices are reasonable. At the pool bar food is available during the day and this was excellent quality. The pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve had outside of Italy it was so good. The portions are enormous and after the first day, we would choose a meal and share it as it was sufficient for both of us. The prices are particularly good for how much you get. The barman was very good and as he has an English mother, he spoke English like a first language, so nothi

The down bits are that there are steep hills to get to the hotel and the rooms but there is a courtesy vehicle to collect and take you to the room or its a great work out !!! As for the hotel..It was just the job with great rooms ,lovely food and great staff. The girls who run the restaurant run it with military precision yet have the time to smile and say hello...They were great...The welcome on the desk was equally good and always welcoming.Lovely parts of the hotel to relax and take in the scenery. All in all a lovely experience where the staff made it for us..Management....give them a bonus !!!! Thanks for a great week.

Quite a good hotel with some issues that could easily be addressed.. WASPS all around the outdoor area of the restaurant, made it uncomfortable if not impossible to eat breakfast outside. It's not that difficult to get rid of wasps. Cats - in the restaurant - meowing at your feet - no thanks. Otherwise, with a few tweaks could be so much better. Clean the loungers & tables around the pool. Put lightbulbs in the bedrooms that are suitable - even with all lights on it was very dark. Some food at breakfast was a little poor - bacon swimming in grease & very odd scrambled 'eggs'. Please serve butter not spread 🤢 or at least both for choice. However hotel is good value for money, just needs a bit of a shake up.

this hotel is a real hidden gem! we booked a superior room, and although it didnt look like the website pics, it was nonetheless a very nice room, with the best view we have ever had in 40 years of travelling! the room was on the 5th level with a patio and terrace, furnished with table and 2 chairs and an airer. the bed was 6ft x 7t, ideal for a tall husband! extremely comfortable, lovely bedding, linen and pillows, had excellent sleep. had a full size kettle and mugs, fridge, double walk in shower, vanity bar, quirky hand basin too! towels changed and room cleaned every day except Sunday, many thanks to the housekeeping staff who keep this hotel so beautifully clean. as other guests have mentioned, if you cant do the steps or hills, this hotel may not be for you, we are in our 60's and found it no problem, getting up early to watch the sunrise over the Ionian Sea was worth all the steps! plus it meant we could eat more as we were burning calories! the breakfast and dinner were both buffet, the dining room staff are super attentive and its so clean, the experience is amazing, so thank you all very much. there are some cats that roam in and out, but if you ignore them and dont engage with them, they soon get the message! although of course, some guests choose to feed them, which is why they come in the first place! we tended to always sit inside, as it was late in the season and there were a few wasps about outside, and although they buzzed around, they didnt appear to want to sting! so its a matter of choice. the chefs provide some lovely greek dishes, plenty to choose from, very authentic, hot and delicious, something different every night, big shout out to the kitchen staff for feeding us and providing 5 star food and service. the bar area inside and out is modern and welcoming, we had the most amazing october weather and spent nearly all of our time outside. the pool area is clean and comfortable, pool was warm, spotless, plenty of sunbeds, our favourites were the poster bed style, this was a real chill out holiday for us! the pool bar is so handy for that afternoon alcohol and snacks, although we saved ourselves for the beautiful dinners! when you first get there and you need milk and water, pop down the road to the Golden Mare hotel shop its slightly cheaper than the little mini mart along the road. down on the main road, there is an all day bar called Skala, fabulous food menu and terrific views, walk trough the bar and follow the steps to the bottom of the bay, theres a small cove with a few sunbeds and clear water to take a dip. the beach is pebbly and sharp, so beach shoes are a really good idea. we hired a car form Holiday Auto in the village, 40 euro a day, delivered and collected to the hotel. i' like to say a huge thank you to veryone that works at the Pantokrator, we had a truly wonderful week.

Lovely views from hotel, polite, helpful staff. Has a superior room which was a good size and lovely Seaviews, unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the Seaviews from the balcony as every time we went out there we had swarms of wasps. My very 1st cocktail at the pool bar a wasp landed in it. Be prepared to get stung if you go here. I had seen reviews about wasps but thought it can’t be that bad surely, I was wrong! We did visit in September which is apparently the worst month for wasps so if you do go avoid Corfus wasp season (end of August through to October). Entertainment at hotel was quite poor, the first night we got there they had a Greek night on but we was shattered from the delayed flight so we missed it. Unfortunately wasn’t much else in way of evening entertainment for the rest of the week unless you like Rugby as that seemed to be on regularly in the bar. Not sure if everyone on holiday liked early nights or knew somthing we didn’t but the bar would empty by 10pm Most nights and often we were the last ones left. Positives, plenty of sunloungers by the pool and nice chilled atmosphere. The hill…… yes ok I know everyone mentions it and I think I underestimated my fitness as I struggled with it. I’m in my 40’s and thought o had reasonable fitness but I found it hard going. We were right at the top though tbf. Overall the views from the hotel were lovely, room spacious and fantastic balcony views, helpful staff but found the wasps and hills a real put off an think. for those reasons I would not want to return. Lots of positives but wasps Tip: Do not buy Asda branded insect repellent….. rather then repel it seemed to attract the wasps.
