We booked a King One Bedroom Suite with Sea View - Smoking. But during check-in we found out that we were getting a non-smoking room. Not a deal breaker but it would be good for the hotel to keep the room sold out if they cannot offer what is stated. To co****sate they did upgrade us to the 2nd largest room in the hotel with both the sea and city view, which was nice. The hotel room was beautiful and spacious, in general was clean, but the cups and glasses in the room were not clean at all, the same for the breakfast area. The staff was nice and accommodating, room service was fast and they took great care of their guest when it came to serving breakfast. The location of the hotel is one of the best in Mumbai, and the view is gorgeous - the queens necklace. 100% recommend :)

I was in the Room Number 2909. The Workers all were very friendly, especially Vivek. He is such a cool guy and we talked a lot. But as I wrote, all workers were very friendly and courteous. The food always was very tasty, the rooms are very comfortable and you can sleep very well on the bed. The Hotel itself has a upscale facility and it was always very clean. Not bad, although the single room is quite small, but it is acceptable to live alone. Pre-paid unair-conditioned taxis from the airport are about 660 + 70 (tolls, I do n’t know if it was pitted). From the hotel, uber to the airport is 500 + 20 (tip). I never found the main entrance of this hotel. They all came from the corridor of the Trident Hotel next door. It was not until the day of check-out that the main entrance of the hotel was on the negative first floor! Outside the hotel is ”Yuebanwan”, which is very lively at night. If the air is good, you can still run. Walk to India Gate for about 20 minutes, all kinds of noise on the road. There is no supermarket near the hotel, but there are Starbucks and McDonalds, and there is also a cinema. Hotel breakfast is still good, à la carte + small buffet, service is good.

It’s a good shopping spot everywhere, there’s a shopping street and a hand-made keychain (see video). The Gordon House hotel is well situated in the main tourist area, Coloba. It is a short walk from the Gateway of India, and just behind the Taj Hotel (which I believe charges a little bit more for it’s rooms). Our room was on the 3rd floor and was a reasonable size for a city hotel. It was however let down somewhat by the lack of any view from the window (when we opened the blinds all we could see were a stack of air conditioning units) and a very small bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and provided us with very good service. The issue of the noise from the bar on the first floor or the building has been mentioned in ***y other reviews of this property. In our third floor room we were certainly aware of the noise and the vibrations it caused. It did not stop us from sleeping, but we can appreciate that people in rooms on the 2nd floor or who are light sleepers might well find it a problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Gordon House hotel and we would consider staying there again if we ever return to Mumbai (but not on the 2nd floor).

When it comes to cleanliness, this is the hotel you should opt for! Located in the heart of Fort, The rooms were very clean, Very welcoming atmosphere with Wonderful staffs mainly Gaurav who was there for every need of us. He was delightful and eager to help knowing how to treat a customer, as we say 'service with a smile' unlike some other employees. Also Mr Nasrullah who has been very kind to us, checking if we're having any issue and ready to solve anything we might face. Such a delightful person and exceptional service from him. And Lastly Mr Asgar Ali in the restaurant always giving us good recommendations and eager to help! The Restaurant 'It's Lucknowi' got the most yummiest food and you need to check them out asap. HIGHLY recommend!

I just left my room in the city palace. Bilan. I'm already sure I haven't had the room I had booked by bravofly. On the top, I don't congratulate bravofly who did not pass any information to show me to my arrival. I had a room of less than 4m2. To sleep, it's enough. No shower or toilet in the room of course. Hygiene correct if you refer to the hotel in general. Very many staff and rather laughing. Now the less fun sides. The price, probably 800 per night returns to me less to almost 1000.. For Mumbai, it is correct to 800, one may be less than 1000 but I passed through an intermediary so I keep 800.la advertised TV not work and it was a small cathodic tube. I didn't need it, but it's in the ad as a strong point and it's not a strong point at all. The real problem I had is noise. The whole street, clearson all night or almost, is going and comes incessantly from staff and customers. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. They had seen the tourist couple who leaves the train at 23:30 p.m. near all to not spend the night out and we rent a 4m2 room without windows at 2000 roupies. In short, I don't recommend this hotel unless you come to book in the early morning and choose the side and not more than 800. Or then, may be on til de belle chambre in the other floors but I have a big doubt That's it

The hotel is old, the elevator belongs to the manual sliding door, which has a retro taste.
