They put me in a room that was essentially on top of the Highway. Room 301. The hotel was no where near capacity. I didn’t realize it until I tried to go to sleep. I’m guessing the rooms price was lower but seriously? The place was empty!!

The smell of a sweet smelling cleaner (I think?) in the lobby and hallways was over powering. The ceiling in the bathroom (moldy/rusty) was unsettling to the point where we didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower. The couch had lots of stains and didn’t look like sanitary seating. The missing pieces of the red accent wall made it look a little 3rd world. The strong smell of tobacco smoke walking outside was very strong a couple times. We left before the staying our 2nd night (even though we already paid) as it just wasn’t a very pleasant experience for us.

The room was dirty. There was gum stuck to the headboard, trash under the couch, and the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The check in process took a long time. The parking lot was covered with ice and there was no attempt to clear it.

I appreciated the proximity to so many dining options. The staff we encountered were also great. The hotel was clean, though the air freshener near the lobby was a little strong for my taste. However, I found the bed to be incredibly uncomfortable as the mattress was quite firm. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special, think: cereal (two kinds), bagels, mini muffins (if there are any left), waffles, toast, and yogurt cups. Despite that, I did appreciate that they didn’t seem to be in a huge hurry to pack things up right when breakfast was “over.” Overall, a pretty good hotel, I just can’t sleep on the bed.

There was no one at the front desk when I went to checkout. I just left my key at the computer for anyone to take. Also, the breakfast was almost nonexistent. Add some warm sausage egg and cheese biscuits or something, not cold/frozen pieces the size of my thumbnail.

At first, they put me in a room that subdivided in three. The first section was the bathroom, closet, and microwave and refrigerator. The middle section was the bed, dresser and TV. The front section had the HVAC, desk, and a couch. The wall between the bedroom and the HVAC had two non-functional fans that are supposed to get air to the bedroom. Not only did they not work, but they were very filthy. The Internet didn't work nor did the TV in that section.
The front desk guy put me in a different room, one that looked like the pictures shown here, and while it was better, the rooms are still dark, the shower is dark, and the HVAC system look like they haven't ever been cleaned. Further, this is another Indian run establishment and from what I'm seeing on this trip is that they use extremely overpowering cleaners.
