We used this hot spring for a day trip. There are many nice places around, such as Uni Garden. It is very clean and I think it is the safest place in Minami Sorachi. There are popular campsites and auto campsites in Minami Sorachi. However, the hot springs are also a big attraction, so I recommend this place if you are thinking of meals and a warm time there. It is not a direct flowing hot spring, but it is very warm. There seem to be many tourists in Hokkaido who are particular about the quality of the hot springs, but many baths are dirty from the large number of people who use them. In Hokkaido, Tokachi and Obihiro are popular. However, Minami Sorachi has many attractions, such as Kirara Kaido. There are not many foreign tourists in Minami Sorachi yet, so you can enjoy Hokkaido by driving from Sapporo.

I've been going there for about 20 years on a day trip basis. We arrived at around 7:20pm and decided to have dinner before taking a bath, so we ordered soba noodles and fried sweet potatoes with cheese, which my kids love. The food came out at 8:35pm, which I felt was too late. I'll post a photo, but the fried sweet potatoes with cheese were too burnt, the soba noodles were too soggy, and the chef's attitude was too rude, so I was surprised at all the things I'd never experienced before, even though I've been there many times before. My child seemed to find the burnt fried sweet potatoes with cheese bitter, so he left most of them. While we were waiting for the food to come out, I started to worry about the time we'd be able to take a bath, so I explained the situation to the front desk and asked about the time we'd be able to take a bath. They kindly said that the bath time is until 9pm, but since they'd heard the situation, it would be okay if we were a little late, but we weren't able to take a bath until 8:50pm, and the moment the cleaning staff saw us, they sighed while looking at their watch. It may be our fault for coming in late, but I was disappointed because the service, baths, and food had always been great.

We stayed with 6 people. Since it was a holiday, the narrow lobby was very crowded with day trip customers. It's a log house-style stylish room, and it's not large, but you can spend comfortably. There is no bath in the room. Room of the second floor goes up steep stairs that are unreasonable for the elderly. Better to check when you make a reservation. The large public bath has an open-air bath, jacuzzi, and sauna, all of which will warm you up and make your skin smooth. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. It was Japanese food with a gentle taste. The shop in the lobby mainly sells local sweets, and many of them have a handmade feel.

Is it from this year? The bathing fee was 980 yen / person. I remember that a year ago it was about 800 yen... I take a day trip bath here and there in Hokkaido, but the price has been raised everywhere due to the influence of corona or to secure income due to the decrease in foreign tourists. . It's not a tourist spot, so maybe it's better to make the fee system a little easier for locals to use? The building is like a log house and the spring quality is good, so it is crowded with local customers. The sauna was also used by 7 people with social distance. I think that there is a rest room and a smoking room, and the facility is well equipped. You can also enjoy shopping because there are souvenirs and products from local sweets shops and bakeries next to the front desk.

I think the bath itself is good. However, I see similar things written in reviews sometimes, and I thought "No way", but today I encountered it. An old man who seems to be a regular customer put his towel in another empty washing area to reserve a place for the washing area, saying "A friend is coming here", so I returned the towel and used the place, saying "Please let the person reserve the place" and said to the "friend" who came about 5 minutes later, "This person took the place" in a loud voice behind me. In the end, he put his bathing supplies down, saying "I'll use this when it becomes available", and of course he got into the bath without washing himself. And when I got out, he glared at me with a terrible look on his face. I like the bath here and come here sometimes, but I didn't want to come again. I complained to the front desk, saying "I want you to put up a sign that prohibits reserving places", but I don't know when it will be realized.

コーヒーの湯 日帰り温泉利用。 やや古さはあるが清潔感は問題なし。 お湯は珍しい茶褐色のコーヒーの湯でぬるっといい感じ。 サウナも及第点。 ただ、この日は露天風呂エリアが修理中で使えずかなり残念でした。 お詫びに次回300円で利用可能券をいただきました。でもいけるかな？
