Amazing
熊熊找不到Stayed one night in this hotel, the interior is new and clean. The mini self service cafe at the reception is very welcoming, they even provide take away cup for guests to bring the coffee/tea to the room, I find this is a thoughtful gesture. This hotel has good variety of amenities, the room is compact and functional, good for solo travelers. There is a microwave in the room to heat up the food, and humidifier at the common area if you ever needed one. I personally like the public bath a lot, especially the outdoor pool. The room has the body wash and shampoo, other toiletries can be self service from the reception. Not forget about the location, just a stone throw away from 2 tram stations, basically you could travel around Nagasaki from these 2 tram stations. One thing worth mentioning is, the bus no 5 that goes to Inasa-yama park cable care and slope care station, is just few minutes from the hotel, which is a pleasant surprise and saves me a lot of time when I was trying to find my way to the park. Overall, I had a pleasant stay in this hotel, highly recommend it!

Great
HHoshI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything about this hotel just worked. The room was clean, spacious and properly laid out. And the amenities were fantastic. From the natural hot spring to the massage chairs to the free refreshments and free evening (small) ramen. There is a shopping mall across the road (AMU Plaza) and also a tram stop a stone throw away. The breakfast was good but nothing to write about. And if that’s not close enough, there is a 7-Eleven next door (and connected to the hotel).

DDominic Leong YSHotel located right at the city centre next to a covered shopping strip. Surrounded by good restaurants around. Room is good enough for 2 person and complete with everything a traveller needs. Free coffee machine at reception area for morning coffee if one doesn’t want to drink coffee in the room. Highly recommended

CChwaiI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and always helpful, making the experience comfortable from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a rich choice of food to suit different tastes. The location is also very convenient, with a bus stop and Family Mart just outside the hotel, which made getting around and picking up daily necessities very easy. I especially appreciated the onsen facilities, which were clean, relaxing, and a highlight of my stay.

GGuest UserLocation-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (as of Sept 2025; do note that the coin laundry room feels like a free sauna when at least 4 machines are running), the wifi for guests worked consistently, and the smoke-free policy meant that no areas smelled of smoke. The air conditioning for the rooms was sufficiently cool, the lighting control and mini alarm clock by the bed worked well, and overall the room felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. Because the single room has a relatively narrow entrance walkway, try to avoid bringing multiple pieces of large luggage as there may not be space to open them at the same time. I greatly enjoyed my stay here (especially it being my first solo trip), and would book it again if returning to Nagasaki in the future.

DDr.p3pp3rThis hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows. The positives: The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki. Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables. The negatives: Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs. There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult. Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward. Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to strip their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive. The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused. Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control. Would I stay again? As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support.

FFeifei1018I've become a huge fan of Dormy Inn hotels! They offer incredible value for money, featuring hot springs, a generous breakfast, and even complimentary late-night ramen along with other sweet treats. Their locations are almost always prime, and this Nagasaki branch is no exception. It's less than a 300-meter walk from the airport bus stop, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Plus, you'll find both Hiragi Ramen and a fantastic Saga beef restaurant just around the corner on a bustling food street.

__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced. The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant. There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station. There's also a hot spring (onsen).

OOlga TarI really didn't expect anything from staying at this hotel, as it was twice as cheap as anything in the area. But it's really a hidden gem! The location is perfect for exploring Nagasaki, in the heart of Chinatown, lots of eateries in the area, and a tram stop nearby. The entrance is between two buildings and not obvious at first glance, but Google maps will get you there. The hotel has a retro vibe and doesn't look like a traditional business hotel, but does it need to? Big comfy beds, huge rooms (a lot more spacious than you expect to find in Japan), all the amenities you need inside. The description didn't mention a fridge, but we had one in our room. No view, but it didn't bother us. Good breakfast for a reasonable price. The only downside is that they don't have a coin laundry in the hotel, but there are some in the area. In my opinion, it's more than value for money!

SShin-Woei FannThis is an old hotel located a liitle up slope and few blocks away from the train station. The television in the room even has a dyscryptor on it. The decoration in the hotel is unique with old style fashion. I would say I've got a good experience of living in such historical hotel.
