We travelled to Reni Pani as the 2nd stop as part of a three stop tour (Tadoba Waghoba Lodge, Satupa and Kings Lodge at Bandhavgarth) in April 2024. Our stop in Satpura was overall enjoyable. I’ve scored our stayed based on our experience at the lodge and not on the National Park, however, I have commented on the NP as that’s probably why you’d stay here. We arrived to a warm greeting after a long drive from Tadoba. The Lodge itself is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by trees, you feel like you are in your own little Jungle. Some nights you will hear the lodge dogs barking, who knows what is lurking outside! The central dinning area is very nice and there is a library next to it with the Wifi spot. We had meals in the dinning room and outside by the pool. My partner has specific food tolerances and we had sent these ahead via our agent. Indeed, we discussed this almost immediately with the head naturalist (acting as ***ager at the time), the hostess and the restaurant ‘captain’. Unfortunately, whilst the senior people seemed to know about these issues, when it actually came to meal times the servers didn’t. Whilst it wasn’t a major issue, it does get very very tedious having to send food back time after time because she can’t eat it, it gets frustrating after it happens again and again and also when they don’t replace the food she can’t eat with something she could. We went for High Tea on the Wednesday afternoon that the park is closed and after waiting for ages someone appeared and we had to ask for the high tea. My partner ended up with one piece of cake she couldn’t eat as there just wasn’t anything else suitable and I had a sandwich - that was all as nothing else was offered. Not really the service you expect! The senior staff were always very apologetic after, but it was always after the event. We didn't mention the high tea problem as we just got fed up with having to mention food 'issues'. You end up up feeling like youre the one with the problem even though its the lodge who keep messing up. When the food was served it was plentiful and very tasty. Breakfast was a treat out on the drive. There was no ‘menu’ for guests to see (if there was I never spotted it) which would have been nice to see what you were going to eat. Our Room (1) was delightful, spacious and spotlessly clean. Id say the best of the trip overall. The bed was massive but VERY hard, when asked about our nights sleep we did mention this but it took another night to sort out. The only downside is that there was no wifi in the room. Yes, I know people will say you need an escape but it is nice to be able to speak to the kids at home. We did try this on a couple of nights in the library but there were other people there so sometimes difficult to have a private conversation. At night due to there being possible animals about you needed to be accompanied to your room, so once there you were there for the night as there is no phone either to ask to

Absolutely pathetic customer service for bookings. In spite of repeated follow ups they were not responding. Clearly shows their attitude and arrogance towards customers. There were 2 numbers to call. First number guy said he is busy with family issues and asked me to call the second number. The second number guy was angry because I called him. He never got back with any options in spite of me messaging him optional dates. God save this property.

One of my favorite eco lodges I have ever stayed at! Reni Pani is a beautifully upkept property with easy access to Satpura Preserve (home of tigers and sloth bears!). Staff is amazingly friendly and goes to any length to make a guest feel at home. Erwin is probably the most charming lodge host I have ever met - be sure to converse with him whenever you get the chance. Swimming pool and horses (for riding) are available on the property. Dining was always a joy with several evening dinners held outdoors under a giant neem tree. I watched macaques, spotted deer, palm civets, and numerous birds from the front porch of my cabin.

Have been to a lot of safaries in India but Reni Pani is truly an incredible forest lodge which is right in the middle of the forest while giving us luxurious stay. We came here for 2 nights and both the days were truly magical! This place exceeded our expectations in everything stay, hospitality, service, safaries. We stayed in tent as well as cottage and the tents were super luxurious. No one can beat the hospitality and ***agement of this place it is just superb, very warm and courteous people and staff who always make you feel very homely and even where the smallest thing of ours is taken care of. Both the nights, there were different and exclusive setup for dinner for us which gave us a very lively atmosphere. A big and special thanks to SHARNA the lodge ***ager who took care of us made us feel special and also who gave the best surprise on my birthday in the middle of forest. A big shoutout to OMKAR and ARVIND, our naturalists for the safaries who were very friendly, warm, welcoming ,very knowlegeable and enthusiastic people who made our two days the best and who have become our friends now. Have come back with the best lifetime memories 100% recommendation to all the people. I am definitely visiting Reni Pani again this year.Looking forward to those days again. Thankyou Reni pani team

We stayed in this property for two nights. It was a family stay for a new year vacation. This place is at a distance of two hours from Bhopal. Road is good. This place is literally in the middle of forest but has all the amenities and comfort one can ask for. We stayed in luxury tent and it was luxurious. The bed was huge, it has a nice separate sitting area, his and her wash basins, locker, tea maker, study table, nice bathroom with 24 hours running hot water, all the necessary toiletries. There is a nice porch outside tent where one can enjoy morning tea and evening drinks. All tents have different view but very safe. The food and its quality is top notch. Staff is excellent, polite, courteous and ever smiling. There is a nice pool in the property. They also have one small library which has some games too and one small gift shop. There is no room service but without reminding the staff, they make up bed morning and evening, room is cleaned twice a day. We noticed that every time we came in our room after dinner, there was a hot water bag in our beds to make it warm and comfortable before we sleep. We went for a safari in the buffer zone and it was good too. I would like to thank Jason our naturalist who made our safari trip memorable. One should be mentally prepared that in this property signal and internet will be an issue. Though there is a free wi-fi in the library but it doesn’t have good strength. The positive side is that you get to spend quality time with the family or friends rather than hooked up on mobile. In my opinion this is how a vacation should be. So if anyone who is looking for a good family time and want to disconnect from rest of the world then this is a place to be.

We visited this property in the first week of December 2021 for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What an amazing experience! This is the place one should visit when they want to cut out all the outside noise & worries (no network here!) and just realign themselves internally, as well as with Nature. Everything was perfect: Accommodation, Food, Ambience and Safari. Special mention to Jason, the naturalist who accompanied us to our safari. What a treasure trove of knowledge he is! Truly recommend. Kudos to absolutely wonderful camp host Sharna, ***ager Erwin and the warmest staff, who made the whole stay experience feel like home! :) We can't wait to be back :) Keep up the wonderful work!

Our final stay on our trip and the lodges still kept delivering different elements and surprises. Here whilst the largest of the lodges we stayed at, with some initial concern over the size the lodge still ***aged to deliver a personal service and an intimate feel in the private tents. The food , whether eaten inside or out was self service and a good choice (freshly cooked naan a highlight) and wi-fi in the library provided a chance to catch up. In the park amazing close encounters with 3 different Sloth Bears provided some real memories.

This comfortable lodge offers all you need for your visit to the Northern area of Satpura. The bungalows are more traditional in style than its sister Bori Safari Lodge, but are equally comfortable. Big beds, spacious bathrooms and well equipped, the rooms are nicely decorated. Meals are taken either in one of the outside spaces or inside the large main lodge. The food was a mix of Indian with some nice salads / other dishes, although I seem to have spent most of my time eating the amazing garlic butter naan! Breakfast safari was excellent - great Chai and Aloo Paratha *****side the bakery selection. Staff are attentive and very friendly, with a particular mention for Erwin the ***ager who is a font of wildlife photography knowledge and skill. The naturalists are very knowledgeable - thank you Sameer who is a veritable Google of information - and will guide you around the Madhai Zone, on the river (the lodge has its own boat) or in the buffer. We had great Tiger and Sloth Bear sightings on our drives, and really enjoyed the boat trip (now with the added excitement of possible Tigers on the shore!) There are more jeeps entering the park than from the Bori end but it is still limited to 16 - a fraction of the jeep carnage at other parks. This is why Satpura is so special. Thanks to everyone for a great stay.

From the initial enquiry Saleem was extremely helpful and replied to all my questions;with his help we created a great itinerary from Bori to Bhopal. Everything worked like clockwork so thank you very much. The lodge is in a secluded forest and the accommodation is very pleasant. The team graciously accommodated all our requests. We had booked private safaris and a night camping in the buffer zone. We also did a couple of walks, one in the buffer zone and one in the core. We enjoyed everything maybe even more because we had the luck of having Jesan as our guide. His knowledge and experience are simply great and he is also a very kind and fun person. We learnt a lot from him and enjoyed his company very much! We saw tigers, bears, gaurs (on foot too....!) , squirrels, eagles eating a peacock...tracks,birds ,insects and plants...Jesan had knowledge about them all! He really is one of the most experienced and passionate guides we met ! Thank you for the great experience! I almost forgot to mention the tent was luxurious and the food was great. My only suggestion would be to provide internet dongles in each room so that people can be in touch with whoever they need. I am aware the lodge policy is to discourage the usage of the internet but in this age I think that doesn't really work...it would be better to offer the option and let guests decide. The WiFi in the library was working only half of the time.
