The staff are amazing, super attentive and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The furnished balcony is an added bonus and lovely to catch the last bit of sun of you're West facing. The food options were good but the vegetarian menu could do with an update. The entertainment keeps you going. The beach is lovely but can get a little rough and choppy at times which I think is why the hotel can't offer non-motorised watersports like kayaks and SUPs.

The property was beautiful and felt safe . The rooms were clean . Nobody tells you when you check in u need to stay up til midnight to book reservations at the special Restuatants, as a result we couldn’t get reservations so we were stuck eating from the main restaurant Buffett . The food was good but it would have been nice to try a nice restaurant. Unfortunately the property is located right next the public beach and the little kids will come over to the beach and I know I sound mean but i booked adults only so I didn’t have to deal with the kids .

The property was very nice, clean, and perfect area. Everything was worth it and loved that it was very close to the hotel Atlantic. Few things that it would have improve my stay are : having a spa, been able to reserve a dinner at the restaurants, and more activities to do inside the hotel.
I stayed 3 nights 4 days there and was able to only book 1 reservation at 1 restaurant …. The rest of my stay I was force to eat at the same place every single day ….

We were unable to get into a restaurant to eat dinner on any night but the buffet was good.
The one shower head was not staying up in holder.
There is not enough outlets by bed for cpap machines

Riu Hotel was an awesome experience! The staff goes above and beyond always! The food is AMAZING, you would usually expect bland resort food but not here, seriously amazing. Try doing the reservations to the themed restaurants as soon as you get there because they are always full (avoid Tengoku, is not that good). The drinks are good and the shows are fun.
The rooms might need a bit of an upgrade, (my mirror was rusted and looked bad) and the sheets smelled liked bleach but everything else was clean and nice.
The pool WAS BOMB! And the beach is super pretty! All the other amenities like the cafe and the bar were super great. Thanks for an amazing stay, it sure does worth all the pennies.

Very enjoyable stay overall with group of friends. The hotel is very clean all around and the staff is very hard working and friendly. Buffet had a nice variety each day making reservations at the specialty restaurants really just an added plus if you could snag one. Beach was beautiful. Lots of peddlers on the beach, but after the first day you notice it's the same individuals repeatedly. They will largely leave you alone if you're not interested. Hotel staff are always nearby on the beach if needed. The bed was an issue, we booked a king bed, but in reality it was just two full sized pushed together with a large gap in the middle. Not a comfortable arrangement at all for sleeping with your partner. Lastly, there were a couple questionable characters on the resort being served by the bar tenders (not wearing a hotel bracelet), who tried to get us to come party off site with them. We did not appreciate this situation. Overall, a nice no frills adult only inclusive resort option in the Bahamas.

The food, while plentiful, was average at best. The steakhouse was an Outback type restaurant. We spent two of our three nights there eating dinner at Atlantis restaurants. The staff at Riu was great and made the stay better than the food tasted, and the rooms were nicely done as well.

The staff were excellent. Lobby was beautifully decorated, but then rooms seemed outdated and not as luxurious as lobby area. There is not much to do on bad weather days and the inside bar seemed very dated. The beach was beautiful, but could become over crowded at times. Would go back for food and staff, but that’s it.

Great food, very nice staff. I checked in online and we arrived early to the hotel and was able to get our room right then. That was the best part.
