What a great family-run hotel! The meals were delicious. The room was spacious and clean with beautiful mountain views. Incredibly kind staff. The epitome of "Gemütlichkeit." Would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you for the extra touch on New Year's to make it special. Danke schön Stefan, Helga und Familie!

Pretty old shabby rooms Dont go there if you have astma. Smelly bathroom, and a very grumpy owner. Owner was even drunk one night, because the little miss was away fo a few days. I got drunk only frim his breath

I have just returned from a week's stay at the Hotel Augarten. I was with 5 adult friends and we skied on the Stubai glacier every day. We had never stayed at this hotel before and it turned out to be a good choice. The family Schopf made us very welcome. This was our first trip abroad since March 2020 because of Covid-19, and we were the first Brits to stay at the hotel during this time. My room (a double) was excellent, clean and very good value. The food (breakfast, afternoon cakes and dinner) was very good and plentiful. The ski/boot room is conveniently located on the ground floor and is accessible from a side entrance. The location of the hotel is also very convenient - next door to a ski/glacier office, close to a main bus stop, and near two supermarkets. I would fully recommend this hotel to everyone - adults, families, groups and individuals. We had a terrific time.
