Had a fantastic time at the montelrone, we stayed at two hotels whilst in New Orleans and this was by far the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the door men. We even found ourself coming back there to use the bar even when we were staying in the another hotel for the second part of our week.

Very pleased with our four night stay at Hotel Monteleone. Quiet, comfortable bed, great hot shower, fun lobby bar (often too hard to sit at carousel bar), helpful concierge and bell captain, lovely heated rooftop pool. And of course, great location. I liked that no matter how busy it seemed, there seemed to always be staff available to help. Thanks for a great stay in NOLA!

The computer system was down and there was no check in. Everyone was sent to the bar and we asked for a refund. Had to find another place to stay last minute so we could get ready for the event we came to NOLA for.

The property was amazing. The only thing keeping my rating from being 5 stars is because there were a few strands of hair on the bathroom floor after checking in. I would prefer not to have someone elses hair where I stay. Aside from that, this was a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Haven’t visited the older section but the new section is gorgeous, as are the common areas. The Carousel Bar is crowded no matter the day or time but it’s fun if you do get a seat. The bartenders were great, such pros and friendly. The jazz entertainment was terrific. The champagne & macarons in our room the last night were an unexpected & delightful touch.

Couldn’t park in garage or valet. Had to park blocks away. Coffee machine didn’t work. No one to help with luggage. Room service didn’t answer.

Me and my husband booked this hotel for our 9th yr anniversary. It was amazing. The staff is very friendly and the room are well kept. We even got turn down service and housekeeping everyday. The carousel bar was very nice. We made reservations to the bar and I’m glad we did and paid the extra fee because I f not we wouldn’t have got a chance to get a seat at the bar. Everything about the stay was amazing. Close to greats in paces to eat and shop.

The beauty, history, location, activity, uniqueness, and plain lushness of this hotel make it worth every penny. Every employee was smiling and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious with its high ceilings, yet cozy with its furnishings. Very cool rotating Carousel bar. Valet parking allowed us ease of mind as regards our car overnight in the city. Overall wonderful!

Staff were excellent and attentive as always. Facility is beginning to get dated and slightly worn. Close walking to shops and, of course, Burbon Street. Our room was on the 12th floor so street noise was not an issue. Many choices for food but we are vegitarian so it was more difficult for us. But I can't knock it too much because it is New Orleans meaning lots of fish based food. Can't say enough about the staff and their attentiveness though. Would definitely be back.

The valet service leaves a lot to be desired. Two nights there and average wait time to get the car was 35 minutes.

The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. We visited during Mardi Gras so it was very busy, but we were well taken care of!

The Monteleone is fabulous. So well managed and clean! Very attentive staff! Will return!!
