We stayed at Lotte at the end of December. It was my first time in NYC and I wanted to stay somewhere that decked their halls. The Christmas decorations and trees were absolutely beautiful. The Christmas music was playing and I still felt the spirit, even though Christmas was over. The location was awesome. Very walkable to Times Square, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Central Park etc. The lines for check in, elevators and coffee shop were long at times. But that is all I can complain about and it was not terrible. The hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would recommend staying here.

Staff were not overly friendly and everything cost extra including 2 hour later checkout/ to open the mini bar....

We can't wait to get back to Lotte New York Palace! Everything was perfect! The Christmas decorations are the most beautiful in New York. Charles got us settled into our room and attended to our every need. The location is perfect for walking anywhere in New York. We will definitely be back for our next stay at Lotte Palace!!

Fabulous stay at the Lotti. I travelled with my daughters for a weekend. Loved the location, close to shopping, dining and the subway. Only recommendation I would make is they never gave us bottled water in the rooms. And at midnight there was no where to get bottled water. No vending machines or anything. At 6:00 AM finally walked to get some. Would recommend getting drinks for your room and snacks when you check in because when the coffee shop closes there isn’t really anything. Beautiful hotel and excellent service. The hotel staff was so friendly and always greeted you by your name everytime you called the main desk. Amazing customer service. Will definitely be back. Also right across the street from a Starbucks so another plus! Also recommended staying on the side of the hotel that has a view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Beautiful view. If you get a high floor it’s also quiet.

Unfortunately the rooms were very old and also have no Minibar. The staff at the Reception was not very helpfull. i would not recommend going there during the holidays as it is very crowded not only in the hotel but also outside.

The old hotel was beautiful at Christmastime! Gorgeous decorations and places to sit and visit. Friendly helpful staff. Elevators at peak times were crowded and slow, and in the palace, there are no closets or wardrobes to hang clothes in the rooms.
