…It’s not bad, but most of the youth hostels don’t feel like tourists, they are more likely to be working people

Very nice youth hostel

Great NYC ambience, complete with graffiti. Very low-key with nice people. The subway is within easy walking distance. There's a very definite urban edge, though, so this is not for people looking for a garden in the city. I'll definitely recommend it to friends!

Nice place to stay if you want a clean college campus type building. Has a good amount of things to do in the building. Cool vintage library game room with pac-man and etc. downstairs. Safe smoking area in the back. People who stay there seemed chill and very diverse

I spent a very pleasant night at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and I liked the set-up of the room I was assigned to.

You get what you pay for. Beaides that no complaints. Good experience overall

Nice location. Ample parking if you need it. Close to Ange Noir Cafe which has good brunch options. Within a few blocks of some very good restaurants. It is located in a warehouse district so it can be a bit noisy.

The prices are alright for what I got, Jon helped me a great deal since I asked for a room change and to get someone to deliver a package answered all my questions and even recommended me a good cafe nearby. Bathroom cleaning I guess it can be improved but that aside it's a perfect option for an expensive city. Just be careful of Mr. Google Maps, the closest train station is Morgan Av, so try reaching there since the others are a long walk, and with bags it's really a no no.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and super helpful, would totally go back.

Rooms had less people than a usual hostel. Bathrooms were very clean and recently updated. Great area
