I've made 3 visits to the Oualie Beach Resort over the past 2 years associated with Yoga and SCUBA retreats through Amanda Parr. Your location, comfortably rustic island vibe and excellent staff make for a wonderful set of experiences. My first two visits were solo but in April my son joined me for a visit to Nevis. He was as throughly captivated as I have been. Preserve your amazing vibe. You are a jewel among the islands. Even Smokey the House Cat rememberd me from a prior visit.

My wife and I have always traveled to St. Kitts, but we never really ventured over to explore Nevis. This year, we finally decided to change that—and let me tell you… it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we boarded the BluWave Water Taxi, we knew we were in good hands. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and full of great suggestions. They recommended we stop by Oualie Beach Resort for lunch, and of course we did. While we were looking through the menu, a beautiful lady walked by with a smile so bright that my wife asked her if she ate a light bulb 💡 for breakfast! 😂 That moment sparked a conversation, and in that one conversation, everything changed. We chatted for a bit, and just like that we knew exactly what to order, booked a taxi for an island tour, decided to stay for the weekend, booked a sunset cruise, and learned so much about Nevis and its amazingly friendly people. We shared plenty of laughs, but best of all—we created lasting memories. This beautiful, polite, humble, funny, and extremely helpful agent and true ambassador of lovely Nevis is SHANNY. From the staff, to the food, the location, the room, the atmosphere, and of course the breathtaking sunsets—everything about Oualie Beach Resort was amazing. We had an unforgettable time, and we’ll definitely be back next year. I don’t think I can say it as good as Shanny… but one thing I know for sure: NEVIS NICE!! 🇰🇳✨

We have travelled extensively in the Caribbean and really love small, friendly resorts. Oualie Beach has been on our radar for many years and we have just returned from an 11 day break here, booked with British Airways. Accommodation: Our accommodation (Deluxe Bungalow) was, like all the others, right on the beach. Like mentioned in many of the reviews, the rooms need a little TLC but the bed was very comfortable and we slept wonderfully! Great AC and hot water. We didn’t need anything else. Breakfast: We had breakfast included which was good every day; the team will accommodate requests if what you want is not on their little menu. Michelle and Aaliyah were always friendly and professional! Dinner: We ate in the restaurant a few times, Tuesday Pizza Night was a lovely change, but the food is simple and plentiful. Other restaurants are within walking distance or a short cab ride to mix it up! Big tip: Oualie will arrange transfers for you from St Kitts - do not pay the extortionate price with BA! Try it, manage your expectations and relax into it! You will love it.

Our premium room was perfect. We enjoyed the dining room and bar. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful We would expect based on price point to have outdoor furniture of better quality and better condition. It was disappointing and detracting!

It was a laid back 3 night stay with a cute cottage and screened in porch within walking distance from the ferry from St. Kitts. It has an open air restaurant and bar. There's a friendly kitty, Smokey, on "staff". A massage hut. Hammocks. Loungers on the quaint bay. We walked to On The Rocks restaurant past the ferry for sunset viewing and eating.

Lovely rustic resort on a beautiful beach. Rooms are spacious and clean if, by their own admission, a little old. There is a lovely swim area and views back to St. Kitts. The restaurant does simple home cooked but delicious food. Service was friendly and it was definitely a nice relaxed, quiet place. We felt it was a bit expensive given the limited improvements being made but we enjoyed chilling out.

If you're looking for a beachfront beauty, this is it. If you're someone who likes to get to know the local flavor and be greeted with a genuine smile and good morning every day, then you are home here. This resort will very quickly feel like home and vacation all in one. This is not the resort with the most polish mind you but will deliver a kind, friendly, relaxing local vibe. We created so many lasting memories here already looking forward to next time.

Perfect place to unplug and recharge. The cabins are dispersed along the beach. Generally there are 2 rooms in each. A few buildings have more than 2 rooms. You have lots of space to breathe. The trees offer wonderful, cooling shade. Beautifully landscaped grounds without being pretentious. The staff is welcoming and so helpful. It’s easy to get to from the airport on St. Kitts. Just let them know when your flight arrives and someone will be there waiting for you with your taxi to the water taxi dock. After the 15min boat ride to Nevis, you dock right at Oualie Beach! Easy peasy! There are 2 restaurants within walking distance: at the resort and On The Rocks. Otherwise, you’ll need a taxi but they’re easy to get.

The most peaceful place to vacation. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Grounds were well maintained. Our room with kitchen was perfect. We will be back.
