Was a comfy place to stay.

Sadly, this is the worst premier that myself and my family have stayed in. The bathroom contained black mould. Given it wasn’t the heat of the summer, the room was unbearably hot through the night. Whilst there was a fan to use, it was loud. The bed was comfy, however I couldn’t sleep due to the heat. The food in the Brewers Fayre was poor at best and we had purchased a meal deal. However, everything that we chose seemed to attract a premium addition to what I had already paid. There was no literature in the restaurant telling us what did and dint attract an addition to the price. The quality of the food wasn’t great. This was reported to the waitress. Particularly the chicken pie, literally had one piece of chicken in it (I have pictures of this should you require them). Finally, my daughter had ordered a pudding, it was then delivered to the wrong table and a few spoonfuls were taken from the pudding. The waitress upon realising this, retrieved the pudding and walked back to the kitchen and then delivered the same pudding to our table within seconds. When questioned, she said it was a fresh new one - it clearly wasn’t as the spoon marks could be seen. The pudding was left and we left the restaurant pretty disgusted and disappointed. The breakfast however was a pleasant experience. Needless to say, I won’t be staying at this particular Premier Inn again.

We have stayed here a few times its location is perfect for us, unfortunately the hotel is very tired and rooms are musty, dirty and worn out. We won’t be returning which is a shame both the rooms we had a sewer gas smell. But fee parking!

The room was adequate. 1 x double bed and 1 single bed with a pull out bed. The pull out bed wasnt made up so had to request that and it was soryed very quickly. The room lacked cleanliness...on my level anyway and what looked like a large clump of doghair was behind the door, dust /crumbs on the shelves and dust behind the single bed. We arrived back tired on night one with 2 overtired kids and the door key didnt work so that was annoying. However the trip was just for a place to sleep and the bed was lovely, pillows were not though. Pub was good and breakfast was ok, plenty of seating and a small i door play centre for kids which was nice to have on site. Lots in the area, sainsbury with a costa, petrol station, mcdonalds....i would stay here again.

Midweek stay for two nights with friends. We love Premier Inns and gravitate to them whenever we can. They certainly tick all the boxes. Clean , convenient and usually fairly priced. This one was no different to others in most respects but it has to be said it is looking quite tired. Some effort has been made to do something about this with some work having been carried out to the main restaurant doors. This has to be seen to be believed. Luckily for you folks reading this I took a picture so you won’t miss out. Whoever threw the paint at the doors needs to get in a bit more practice. But whoever passed it off should be sacked. It really creates a terrible impression going into the restaurant. Unfortunately once inside the doors turned out to be the least of our worries. The furniture is really showing its age but the main problem is the chronic lack of staff. With only a single bar person and the manager being run ragged serving food and seeing to staff it wasn’t long before people were literally queuing out the door and orders were being served wrong and over or under cooked. Credit has to go to the manager for trying to hold it all together while all the time keeping a smile on his face. The owners need to help him out or he’ll be off to pastures new the first chance he gets. Would I stay again? Yes but only if I can bring a can of paint and sort those doors out.

Maintaining the strong reputation of Premier Inn. Only let down by the adjoining Brewers Faire restaurant. There was an obvious lack of staff. The hotel side was good. We were very pleased with the quality of staff. They were pleasant, helpful and friendly.

The Hotel is made by the happy and caring staff who helped with everything we needed and wanted to know. The staff at the Drove resturant were kind and efficient and bothe the hotel and the resturant were clean and well cared for. It was a surprise that we consider that the service we erceived at this hotel was beeter than that we have received at some 5* hotels

For the price we've paid it was a very good night. The hotel is very near the ferry and that why we took it. Impressive big room and comfortable bed for the price. If we had time we ate the breakfast there for sure.

We stayed over for 2 nights while visiting family, the hotel was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly especially Jake on reception. Fire alarm went off at 5am on one of the mornings but if its a life saver there's no complaints from me.
