Scarlet Hotel

Stayed here for one night in a standard double bedroom with breakfast and dinner included. Dinner was ok with 6 out of 10, breakfast was ok also with 6 out of 10. We paid £40 for a hot which was just bowl of hot water with a view of scaffolding for half an hour wouldn't recommend. Spa facility's i would rate 5 out of 10. The massage was ridiculous price of £130 each and was standard a lot more than most we have been to. I took my wife for her birthday and was disappointed with the final bill of £900 for less than 24 hours. I would advise st michaels resort falmouth which was a few hundred pounds cheaper for 2 nights and was a way better experience

Location is great, and the spa is the most relaxed I’ve been to. Always feel 100 times more chilled after a visit.

Idyllic setting- fab spa- proper service- great food. A fantastic escape from the pressures of life, the perfect place to recharge.

This was our first visit to the Scarlet. It came highly recommended by several friends, which was key as it was our Mini Moon. We are very discrete and private people and the team made us feel special without making a fuss. The environment is fabulous, the views from our room simple stunning, the food, well to "die for" ....and the staff where quite the most attentive, caring and lovely people you could hope for. Finally of course the Spa trea**ents were amazing, and if only you could take a cliff top hot tub every evening of the week looking down on Mawganporth....The world would be a better place. We love the Scarlet.

Second trip to this beautiful retreat. So relaxing as soon as you walk through the door. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. It’s their aim to make your stay perfect for you.

If you are looking for the perfect retreat The Scarlet Hotel provides everything. As soon as you walk in the main door you are engulfed in paradise.

Having visited since opening, I can’t think of anywhere I would rather visit. The staff, the food, the location and the service are all excellent. Truly my happy place!

We stayed here when it had not long opened and more recently my husband surprised me with a 3 night break to celebrate my birthday. The food is fabulous and so are the spa trea**ents. On checking in it was explained that there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room but if we phoned through they would bring us complimentary drinks to our room. The receptionist kindly said that they would bring us coffee at 8am on Saturday , Sunday and Monday mornings. It did not arrive on Saturday but we were assured it would arrive at 8am on the Sunday. When it didn’t arrive for a second time we cancelled Monday rather than wait in anticipation again. Consequently we did not make use of the complimentary beverages The receptionist said no one wrote down the time and they didn’t want to disturb us!!! Despite us requesting and verifying the time after the initial mistake. We sat out on the terrace which was lovely but there was a faulty latch on the door meaning on two occasions we had to shout down to diners below to alert staff that guests were locked out on the terrace. However, there were lovely surprises like complimentary mimosas at breakfast on my birthday and a card from the staff and as I previously said food was delicious and the spa trea**ent was wonderful. Just a shame the complimentary beverages never appeared. We were looking forward to them and it seemed better than in room facilities but in retrospect we would appreciate making them ourselves rather than missing out completely. Only minor details but a little disappointing in an hotel of this calibre

All good, would visit again! Very good restaurant and spa. Rooms are spacious and unique but our indulgent room (Elvan) had a restrictive view of the sea.
