Umibenokakureyu Seiryu

A magical place! The reception staff were very welcoming and clearly explained everything about the baths and facilities – which is really important for foreigners. When explaining, they even used a portable translator (speaking in Japanese and it verbally translating into Russian), which seems so simple but I've never seen before. Quiet, sea view, hot springs, and wonderful walking spots nearby.

The sunset view is unbeatable, and the private onsen was excellent, but you need to book it in advance, otherwise it can easily be fully booked.

The hotel has a large public bath, and you can also reserve a private one. I recommend checking in early so you can book a good time slot and catch the sunset. Breakfast is a unique set menu, and it's very close to the station.

The location right in front of the sea offered absolutely fantastic views. However, there were some signs of deterioration, such as doors that wouldn't close due to rust and areas where the concrete was peeling off, which was a bit worrying. The food and service were excellent, so the facilities were the only slight disappointment.

I really hope the owner changes and they rebuild it... To think they built a hotel like this with such beautiful scenery and such good hot spring water...

The restaurant offers great value for money and has Chinese-speaking staff. However, as other reviews have mentioned, the hygiene is indeed just average.
