Iberostar Herceg Novi - All Inclusive

It is an all inclusive hotel and they are not mean. The quality of food and drinks are better than expected. Worth the stay.

I’m coming back again this year! Because this hotel has exceeded all expectations. From arrival to departure everything has been perfect. The weather was slightly warmer than usual, the hotel reception Bodjar was charming & helpful. The spa girls gave amazing treatments. The pool bar & beach bar staff were so friendly and polite. Kids club was super interactive along with adult games for us! Everyone is so friendly and polite. The water taxi to take you from the hotel to heroic Novi is adorable and a great service the guys do a great job! The restaurant chefs make beautiful food! I do not have one complaint and there is something for everyone. They really cater to everything. Eden the restaurant waiter was really friendly and there is never a plate left empty at your table they just come and clear it right away! Overall the hotel has been un faulted & I will return later in the year :) well done Herceg novi iberostar thankyou jet2 holidays! & see you soon xxx Tracy

The food in this hotel is very bad. There wasn't even chicken. The food is cold. Pork and shrimp overcooked, cubed soup. The semi-finished products were bought in a store and only heated. Glasses and other dishes are dirty. Chefs work more on their phones than in the kitchen. This is not a 4 but a 3 star hotel.

The most beautifully located hotel with stunning views. An all-inclusive treat; 4 fabulous days to decompress from busy lives. Spotlessly clean and a great range of food and drink (slightly better labelling of vegetarian options would have been helpful- but plenty of choice for vegan/vegetarians) Great breakfasts and delicious pizzas Locally sourced alcoholic drinks were plentiful, as were soft drinks/coffees etc A surprise birthday cake and bottle of fizz added to the occasion A taxi boat was frequent, and boat trips could be booked further afield. Staff were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Daily clean of the spotless bedroom with fresh fluffy towels was much appreciated. Great shower too. We didn’t use the spa- but heard good reports from other guests. Would highly recommend- and definitely going to return

Excellent hotel with an amazing location, the views from wherever you are in the hotel are fantastic. Rooms are good plenty of space large balconies, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is very good plenty of choice over 7 days. Pool is very cold but once you're in it's still cold lol. Drinks are plentiful and good quality. Tge entertainment team are very good and not the pushy type. Nighttime entertainment is a bit naff but due to location they have a captive audience All in all had a great week at the hotel. Shop around for excursions, Jet2 are expensive we used the girl by the pool.

We just had the most amazing family holiday at Iberostar in Montenegro. The hotel was clean, and the rooms are attended to everyday. The food consisted of a decent variety, with as much fresh fish and meat cooked for you to your liking. And as for the hotel staff, they really make the experience A class! Everyone and I mean everyone from the house keeper, receptionists, to the bar staff, restaurant workers and the animation team. We were consistently greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by everyone, and they were absolutely amazing with my two little ones. My daughter was old enough to join in with some activities at the Kids Club and she enjoyed those. As a family we joined Valentina on a scenic walk to a beautiful iew spot and I also did some activities solo. There's always something going on. We also enjoyed a couple of days by the pool and on the private hotel beach. The water is gentle and easy enough to enter. I felt at ease letting my two play and dip their toes in the sea. The views are stunning. Day trips out can easily be arranged as there's always someone there (Bobita was great) to sort. The hotel is definitely tricky for people not able to climb stairs, other than that I highly recommend this for a family destination in the sun! Thank you to all the workers there, you're really doing a great job for your guests. Special thanks to: entertaining and brilliant work with the kids: Valentina, Kate and Bobita. In the restaurant Aldo, Tijana, Mirko, Vuk and Semir and on reception Vanja who was always available to help and helped a lot. Not forgetting my favourite bar server, Ruslan, who made me the best cocktails!

first the positives : the views are good . staff are friendly and genuinely warm . negatives : 1) the beach is not a sand beach but a very stoney one 2) if you come on a jet2 holiday you are treated differently - you are asked to pay 3.50 euros a night to use the safe !!! 3) there is bo coffee and tea making facilities in the room . iron and ironing board is not available as apparently its a fire risk but they have a ironing service at a price . 4) the steps - loads of steps just to gef to the restaurant , beach , bar or just about anywhere 5) there is only 1 restaurant and thats the buffet restaurant 6) the hotel is very remote and there are no bars , restaurants or shops nearby 7) the food is absolutely horrendous ! tasteless and of poor quality - its almost inedible yes there is variety but a variety of inedible poor quality food is not a saving grace . how can a simple salad display be inedible ? cucumbers that are dried out and bitter , cabbage and greens that have clearly been cut the day before . dessert display whilst looking good is horrendous 8) drinks - snirnoff vodka poured from a smirnoff vodka that is clearly not smirnoff - i tried and had 3/4 glass filled with this liquid and i could not feel anything - my guess is that all spirits including aperol has been watered down . i would know as i own and operate 13 bars and restaurants in uk and know exactly what smirnoff should smell and taste like. come on guys …. all inclusive does not mean ripping customers off !

Our stay at Iberostar Herceg Novi was an extremely positive one! Upon arrival, the front desk staff were super friendly and explained everything about checking in and our stay very clearly. Our view from the room was stunning. All staff members had such positive energy. The cocktails were amazing quality and the boat ride to and from the centre is very convenient and adds to the experience . The room facilities were very good. There was enough room for two people and the balcony area was super spacious. Unfortunately, the sockets on one side of the bed didn’t work, the sink area in the bathroom was dusty and there was not much access to streaming apps or English channels on the television. There is a lot of stairs and walking to be done at this hotel, and buggy’s for assistance is not readily available. I would like to give a special mention to Kate and Valentina, who were super approachable, helpful, professional and so much fun during our stay. They made us feel so welcomed, they made us laugh and smile, and it was so lovely to witness people that really value and enjoy their job role; if we return it would be in hopes that during our stay we can see them again and say hello! Night shows, Drinks and fresh cooked food are the top highlights of the stay here!

First the positives Absolutely amazing views Plenty of sunbeds Food good quality Friendly staff Rooms spotless Regular taxi boat to Hercig Novi Good daytime pool scene.. loud music and things going off. Negatives Isolated No where to walk to Everything outdoors (so if it rains nothing to do) Music playing on beach bar all day. We prefer to listen to the birds and sea. Feel this should be a quiet area as the pool is so noisy and visitors need the choice. Evening entertainment could be a lot better We have loved our holiday at this beautiful hotel but in hind sight we would have preferred to be in Kotor with somewhere to go for walks and evening drinks. Not much happening at nights in the hotel and it means catching a boat or taxi to get anywhere. Not the hotels fault… as they do everything possible to make it an enjoyable holiday…but make sure you do your research. Had a fantastic visit to Kotor for two nights in air b and b .. caught bus for 4 euros. Walked up to the Fort and also did the Great Montenegro Tour which was a brilliant day seeing all the sights. Also visited Perast (beautiful) on our way back to the Iberostar. Visited Hercig Novi ..nice place for a few hours but smaller than we thought.
