This hotel had a big open lobby with a bar and plenty of areas to use laptops or to gather in small groups.
Convenient parking in a garage was located below the hotel. The elevators were extremely efficient. We were on the 8th floor and never waited. The hotel staff is hard to reach by phone but when we arrived they happily let us check into our room a little early. The beds are very comfortable and very high! The tv remote is odd and we had to call to figure out how to use it. Early morning coffee urns were late to arrive. The hotel is very close to I-95 which was helpful.

A very average hotel, relatively old, not very cost-effective at this price. Because my children were going to a competition, I booked this hotel. Parking is not free, 20/night. Broadband is free. The biggest problem is that the sound insulation is very, very poor. There were quite a lot of people checking in that day, and the corridor manager said it was causing trouble. The boy in the next room seemed to be drunk and was beating the wall. The wall turned out to be an ordinary wooden structure, and the noise was very loud, seriously affecting rest. The hotel does not have disposable slippers. I will definitely not make a reservation next time I go there.

Great overall condition and service, but there is no hot water from wash station. Can only use hot water from bath tub. Hope is just the random problem with my room though.

The Stamford Hotel lacks cleanliness, and is very dated. The staff also lacks knowledge about its premises. This hotel may be OK for a 1 night stay but nothing longer and I will not be returning.

The front desk staff are professional and respectful. The room was clean and comfortable. Only downside they should offer lotion and body wash.

I like this place very much, the folks on the frontdesk are extremly helpful and best regards to the Gentleman on the bar, very very nice and frendly provided us with great Restaurant infos for diner near the hotel. Coffee was free in the morning, overall top location, sure its not new but clean and frendly

I liked that the property was very close to nice restaurants. However, this hotel is not 4 star. It served my purpose for a quick visit to see family. But would not stay there for leisure.
