A very nice and quiet place a block away from the main area of beautiful Oberammergau. The room was extremely comfortable (and big!), breakfast was delicious. We''d love to get back to Oberammergau, and would be happy to stay here, again.

A wonderful gem we discovered for a last minute weekend stay, early September. Highly recommended for it's location, within walking distance to restaurants & downtown. Free onsite parking and great staff with the perfect amount of attention & privacy. We hope to come back!

The Mammhofer hotel was perfect for us & our adult children. 1 family suite (slept 3 adults comfortably) and 1 double suite. Each had good social sitting areas where we were able to get together for card games/ pre drinks etc. Very close to town & a number of good restaurants, but in a nice quiet area with wonderful views of the mountains from our balconies. The owners/ staff were super helpful with any questions we had & they lay on a lovely breakfast. Would definitely come again if back in the area- it’s like a home from home, our little mountain retreat :)

Was only able to stay one night, but I would definitely return again. The facility is extremely clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room was very large.

Very nice. Did not see anyone who worked there except at breakfast. Good breakfast but would have been better to have an option for regular brewed coffee instead of the machine coffee. Overall, a lovely place.

The room was really nice and had a great shower. The breakfast buffet was good. Parking was a little tight but was doable.

Well renovated B&B, in a quiet position, central in the village. We booked the suite and it was really nice. The owners are very nice and friendly. Price extremely correct in view of the quality of the place. Good breakfast that in the good season can be taken outdoor. Top restaurant Maximilian, 5 minutes walk from the B&B.

Stopped for one night only in this charming village, wish we had time for a longer stay. Mammhofer is close enough to walk to everything, but just outside of the busiest part of the village (quiet!). Josef runs the family-owned place and was a gracious host, and easily accommodated us when we showed up for our reservations a day early (my mistake). Room was clean & comfortable, had a great shower. His breakfast eggs were the best we had on our two-weeks through Bavaria (he added cracked red pepper), and we would definitely stay here again when we return. Thanks Josef!

Very good hotel, good service and kind staff. Good breakfast. easy to walk everywhere considering it is a small city. All over worth to come. This was our 3ed time in town.

Amazing place and has been in same fMily run business for multiple decades. Josef was accommodating and kind and the beeakfast was proper and lovely. We will be back!

Would have preferred a 1st floor room rather than ground floor as it was noisy during the day but as it is a quiet town it was not a problem at night. The room was clean, and cleaned on a daily basis but the settee although was dusted the arms were only dusted to the point of the back rest where the arm continued further back it was still dusty?!
