JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Oita
"Extremely convenient for getting around and shopping, with a shopping street, many izakayas, and karaoke right across the road. The rooftop onsen is absolutely fantastic, offering distant views of Beppu Bay. There's also a cafe run by an old gentleman in the shopping street, and their breakfast is delicious 😋"
Oita Century Hotel
"Opinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled."
Dormy Inn Oita
"Excellent stay as usual in this Dormy Inn hotel as well. The deluxe twin room is spacious. Hotel is near to many f&b facilities in the nearby shopping centre."
Hotel Crown Hills Oita
"There are many foreign staff members, but we didn't have any particular problems dealing with them. There is a height limit in the multi-story parking garage, so the type of car you can use may be limited. If you have a small, maneuverable car, you may not be able to fit it in because cars these days are so tall. It takes time to get your car out of the garage in the morning, so we recommend going early."
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Oita
"Great service and clean room"
Art Hotel Oita
"Very delicious breakfast at a great price. A free welcome drink is provided in the lobby, though there are limited options suitable for kids. The staff were very kind and helpful. The parking lot for larger vehicles is a bit far from the hotel."
Hotel Forza Oita
"The location is super convenient, easily walkable from both the JR station and the airport bus stop at Chuo-dori. There are several large hotels at this intersection, so it's very easy to find. The front desk staff were great, check-in was smooth, and there's a coffee machine and beverage station. Plus, each person gets a complimentary drink (you need to ask the front desk for the drink card, and there are instructions on how to use the drink dispenser). The room itself was standard, not huge but perfectly functional. Right next door is a shopping street with lots of food, drinks, and a supermarket. You can also walk to the JR station for more shopping. The only downside is it's a bit far from the public bathhouse (sento)."
HOTEL MYSTAYS Oita
"the staff is very nice, the position is wonderful and very close to the train station and the rooms are clean and well equipped. I'd definitely reccomend it!"
Oita Onsen Business Resort Kyuan
"From Fukuoka -> Kumamoto -> Mount Aso -> Yufuin -> Beppu Hotel was not good value for money, so I chose to drive 20 minutes to Oita. I was originally afraid of making a mistake since I only have 2 reviews, but after checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. The mini bar was very generous with all kinds of drinks, there was an electric bed, onsen, the room was large, and the value for money was very high. It is suitable for couples to drive together."

Hotel Route-Inn Oita Ekimae

Crane Hotel Takajo
"thank you."
Green Rich Hotel Oita Miyakomachi
"Hotel have smoke room bad smell if you don’t like cigarette you should change but staff very kind location hotel can walk from train station"
Oita Onsen Business Resort Sourin
"The environment is very good, the front desk lady is very friendly, and the hot spring hotel has a high CP value. If I go there again, I will stay there again. Although it is older, it is well maintained"
Hotel Kudou Oita
"The room itself was nice, but the guy at the desk was such a stickler for the rules. He wouldn’t budge on the check-in time, even for just half an hour. To make things worse, the walls were so thin I had no peace and quiet because the neighbors were talking loudly until midnight."
Business Hotel New Ozai
"It was great that the bath was a hot spring. It was the best. It was a little hot though (^ω^)... The food was also delicious!!!"
Hotel Topaz Ozai Ekimae
"There is a wonderful large public bath with hot spring water flowing directly from the source. The topaz-colored water seemed to have the effect of regulating the autonomic nervous system and relieving stiffness. The single rooms are clean and new, and it is a short walk from JR Ozai Station, so it may be ideal for solo travelers who want to enjoy the hot springs. However, I think the problem is the staff and management. After checking in, I tried to use the large public bath, but it was crowded with day-trippers and it was like washing potatoes. I had plans, so I waited until the next morning to use it. I checked with the front desk several times to make sure I could use it the next morning. However, the next morning, for some reason, the large public bath was closed with a "Closed" sign. There were other angry guests, so we all ended up using it together. As expected, we were impressed by the excellent quality of the hot springs. Another thing is that you have to fill in all your address and phone number when you check in. When you make a reservation through an online company such as Trip.com, the hotel has all the information, so you should only have to sign. In fact, that is almost always the case now. I have a slight disability in my fingers, so I wear a help mark. My hands shake and I'm not good at writing, so it was painful. I managed to finish writing it, but it caused me further mental anguish. The staff member corrected me out loud, asking, "Is this a 7? Is it a 3?" I was so embarrassed and sad that I started crying. Can't they see the help sign? While it seemed like all of this was the staff's fault, I felt that in fact the problem lay with the rigid management's operations. Business hotels with wonderful large public baths with natural hot spring water are actually quite rare. To the management: Please try to see things from the customer's perspective, even just a little."
Hotel Zaaz
"The hotel is ok. The room is relatively large in Japanese hotels. The capsule hotel felt too crowded a few days ago. Occasionally change to a big stay."
Oita Regal Hotel
"I went there for a motorcycle tour without making a reservation for a parking space, but the staff were polite and smiled, and the service was very pleasant. I will use the service again. Thank you very much."
Oita Cathay Hotel
"It's a good hotel"
Good Inn Oita
"I'm glad."
