Belcehan Hotel

Good basic hotel breakfast was very good staff pleasant an rooms nice and clean staff friendly and central to ilu deniz pool area nice drinks a little expensive good choice of breakfast food never ate lunch or evening meal

This is the 3rd we have been to Olu Deniz First time Staying at this hotel for my husbands birthday based on reading previous reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The hotel was spotless we had a room facing the mountains which was perfect the room was cleaned every day and a you got bottle of water in your room every day which I thought was a nice touch The room was spacious with kettle and mini fridge. The buffet breakfast was nice and there was enough to choose from there was also a chef cooking omelettes and pancakes. The staff were wonderful really friendly especially George at the bar. The only criticism I have was the food at the pool bar was a bit of a let down the chips were undercooked and greasy and my husbands wrap was a bit bland. however the food in bistro next door which is attached to the hotel was fantastic large portions and really nicely cooked and well presented. The hotel was in easy reach of bars and restaurant and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again due to the location cleanliness and the staff.

This hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. We stayed in a standard double room which met our needs perfectly. The bathroom is great with a walk in shower, ideal if you have mobility issues which I do, in fact the whole hotel is ideal for anybody with mobility issues it has lots of ramp access to all area’s. When you order from the bar you don’t pay you have a tan which you can choose to pay daily or at the end of your holiday, it’s worth keeping an eye on it as it mounts up. The bar food is really nice and reasonably priced. We had a ground floor room with a pool view which was lovely although the balcony area is quite small. Our board basis was bed and breakfast, there was lots of choice, omelettes, pancakes made to order and cooked in front of you. The staff are nice and friendly, making you feel welcome and happy to help in any way. We had our room cleaned every day and provided with fresh towels daily. The location was perfect for us right near the lively *****, slightly downhill and at the bottom is the beach. There a lots of shops, bars and restaurants but not particularly cheap we felt prices were very similar to the UK. Stall holders were very friendly and didn’t harass you in any way to buy anything. There were no benches anywhere which was a problem for me so you’re kind of forced to go into a bar/ restaurant to sit down inevitably then you have to buy something. We only had one trip out to the blue lagoon we took a taxi from the rank right near the hotel it cost £3. Once there you can take a golf buggy which takes you closer and then a short walk and you’re there. The setting is beautiful but I felt the sun loungers really spoil it they had old ripped and torn cushions, really dirty looking and lots of them they are way beyond replacing. Unfortunately we didn’t get out to see much but only due to my bad back otherwise there’s lots to do. Excursions are reasonably priced, from a boat trip to paragliding there’s something for everyone.

I stayed at the hotel with my partner and my parents for 10 days and we had 2 rooms. We were both allocated rooms on 3rd floor however my parents room had a wooden spiral staircase within it and this was not suitable for mobility therefore the hotel changed them to a ground floor room the following day. I noticed in our room on arrival the cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking, mirrors, taps dirty and also the floor in bedroom not the cleanest. The maids did not stock our room with toilet rolls so I had to ask the night reception who was very helpful providing and also we never got daily water in our room like my parents so it seems the maids are different standard depending on where you are in the hotel. The staff behind the pool bar and at breakfast are so friendly and interactive however there is no atmosphere at the pool bar, this may be down to the price of drinks as it was higher than any bar or beach club we visited. The bar at night had no visitors which was a shame. Sunbeds we’re being reserved from 7am and then these beds were not used for hours, luckily it was not peak season or you would not be able to sit by the pool due to them being taken so early. The bistro adjacent to the hotel had extremely good food and cocktails, the team ever so friendly and always spoke when walking past or visiting. Overall we enjoyed the break in olu deniz (15th time to various areas in Turkey but May visit elsewhere in future).

We stayed at the Belechan in May and loved it so much we decided to come back. the staff are amazing , the rooms and facilities are spotless, the pool is a perfect size and there are enough sunbeds for everyone, brekfast is spot on (including cooked eggs, omelets and pancakes) , they have a connecting restaurant so you can order lunch straight to your sunbed. the rooms are all accessible for wheelchair users. the location is perfect beach is 10 min walk (which is through the ***** and therefore an easy walk no hills etc) the hotel is next to a shop and right next to the ***** and 5min walk from bus stop to get to hisarono etc

This was are second stay at the belcehan and once again it was a winner for me and my partner. Somehow they never ran out of effes no matter how much we drank. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was full of variety and once my partner was fully trained on the coffee machine , breakfast became a lovely start to the day . The pool is a nice size and there was always enough sun beds . The hotel is a nice location to the main ***** and the beach . We did try a few restaurants over the 10 days but the belcehan was definitely our favorite although The secret garden is also nice. The bar staff were very accommodating and we always felt well looked after . Definitely a nice environment to enjoy the Turkish weather and hospitality

Nice little hotel - basic but clean. Nice staff, helpful and attentive. Good location - supermarkets pharmacy nearby. I feel sorry for locals, I think they have needed tourism so much that it's caused the local area to become a bit tacky. Think would be great if they had some street cleaners. Would be nice if the disco type bars could tone it down a bit. Also need government workers to monitor littering on the little beaches and coves unfortunately.

Just back from another lovely 2 week stay at this hotel , just the Belcehan hotel now as they have had to drop the Deluxe , I’m not sure why they have had to do this as over the years this hotel has always been very clean and tidy and the standards always high .. Yet again the staff and I mean all of the staff , reception / pool / Restaurant were all superb although a big shout out to the pool bar staff as they looked after us very well and kept my 2 boys Tom and Ollie well entertained for the whole 2 weeks . We can’t wait to return and spend some more time with you all as you all made our holiday a memorable and relaxing one . All the best for the coming season . Ade , Shelley , Tom & Ollie
