We found spider and insects in bathroom!. Front desk staff provide rudeness. I never seen that before in Japanese hotel. Restaurant staff also angry with us.

If you are planing a cheap hotel near Kyoto I recommend this one. Literally the hotel is in the station just get the elevator and go down and there you go you arrive attge station and after 2 stops 9 minutes you arrive at Kyoto station.

Located behind the JR station which could take you to anywhere outside the town. Need to walk to other location within the town as there's no connecting train. The hotel is rather old but is ok to stay at affordable price. A restraurant within the hotel that serve good food.

The hotel is clean and the bed is cozy. However the entire building is extremely old, with wallpaper coming off and shredded curtains. Breakfast is poor. Would not choose again, unless the price is very very cheap.

Nice clean room in Shiga prefecture. Hotel room was clean and quiet. Hotel is connected to the train station via an underground tunnel. Very convenient to get to and from station to hotel.
Would stay with this hotel again when i visit shiga again.

The location right next to the station is super convenient. The front desk staff were also excellent.

Located right at JR Otsu Station, you can just step out of the ticket gate and take the elevator straight up to the hotel. Super convenient!

Comfortable room and bathroom with bathtub. Perfect for a short stay with great connection to Kyoto station by commuter train (12 mins) right outside the hotel. All staff was very sweet. Coffee and tea available all day into the evening for free in the hotel restaurant or for takeaway. Recommend!
