"I came back from Ile des Pins in the afternoon and was checking out the next day, so I stayed in this room just to sleep. (Before going to Ile des Pins, I planned to stay for 3 nights, so I stayed in the Premier Room.) It is inferior to the Premier Room in some ways, but for some reason the WiFi was easier to connect to here."

"A decent three-star hotel in the city's most popular resort area. Everything works, although it's outdated. There's a supermarket nearby, as well as many cafes and brand-name stores. Parking is a bit pricey, considering there are plenty of free parking spaces around the hotel, which everyone does. But perhaps it's worth taking advantage of it for safety. I read in some reviews about a good breakfast, but this apparently doesn't refer to the included breakfast, but to a paid extra. If you choose packages without breakfast, eat at the nearby cafes and restaurants, where the food is delicious and varied. Housekeeping is adequate, and towels are changed. In the mornings, during rush hour, there might not be enough hot water for everyone, but it depends on how full the hotel is."

"It's an older hotel in a residential area on the eastern side of Noumea at Ouemo. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are two large free car parks. We stayed in room 306 and thoroughly loved it, as it was very spacious and had cooking facilities and a good balcony, with wonderful views of the bay. There was a large television with numerous channels. There's a small beach and a swimming pool. There is also a well stocked shop at reception, that has a good selection of microwavable meals, cheese, cold meats, milk, drinks and juices. You can also buy toiletries. There's an in-house laundrette, that you pay for 24-hour usage, but the dryers are free. We'd certainly stay here again."

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, assisting us with directions and sharing some fantastic recommendations for family-friendly places to visit. Their local knowledge made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Gondwana Hôtel for making our stay so memorable. All of the staff were friendly, greeting you with warmth and doing all the can to look after you. Hotel in a very good location. Very short walk to the beach and restaurants.
