Had the most amazing and lovely time at Alpine. It is the most perfect location by the river, and perfect if you like quaint and cosy places to stay. Tariq ji is the most humble and sweet person who helped us with great recommendations across Pahalgam. The food is also the best that we had and very homely.

This cottage definitely went beyond my expectations. On first look it felt basic, however you soon begin to feel the homely atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and go above an beyond to provide the famed Kashmiri hospitality. I would especially like to complement Irfan who was always available to provide any assistance we required. The highlight however is the home cooked Breakfast and Dinner served at the cottage - It is some of the best vegetarian food I have tasted in all my trips to India. I would especially recommend the Ka***ai Paneer which is my all time favourite dish. This is all made possible by the humble on site chef.

Truly awesome place to stay in Pahalgam. This prporty is a cosy 5 room Cottage with 2 rooms, living dining in ground floor and 3 bedrooms in 1st floor. We were a group of 5 friends with our families and hence had booked the entire cottage to ourselves. Stayed here for 2 nights from 19th to 21st Oct 22. The cottage is just beside the Lidder river and looks gorgeous. It also has a small lawn/garden in front. All rooms are wooden in nature, toilet basic but who cares. Price very attractive in pricey Pahalgam. From main Pahalgam taxi stand it is approx 15min walking distance. There is a beautiful park(lavender) close by. All meals including breakfast are cooked on order, so order beforehand. Portion size is very generous. Food is home cooked stlye and we loved it. They normally don't cook lunch so you need to speak to them beforehand. The best part was the living area, since we had the entire cottage booked, we had a great time sitting there, gossiping, having hot chocolate or whiskey as you like. This stay was the highlight of our entire Kashmir trip. We even witnessed snowfall on 20th Oct afternoon in Pahalgam which as per locals was highly unlikely. The lawn in front of the cottage got covered in snow, the entire group got exicited, the cottage attendant immediately arranged large speakers and we all danced jn the lawn while the snowfall was going on. If you are able to book the entire property, just go for it, you will love it. Thanks Alpine Inn, we had a most memorable stay in Pahalgam.

What a cosy abode this place is. An explosion of kashmiri culture and heritage, Alpine is so welcoming and quaint. The decor beautiful reminder of everything of the culture, wodden interiors, handwoven upholstery and the wonderful staff. When you are there, you definitely must try the restaurant food, it's so good, you won't need to go elsewhere to dine. My personal fav, was the Rogan josh. Tariq ji and his crew are just amazing. Loved my stay here

My husband and spent a few wonderful days at Pahalgam. Our stay at Alpine Inn was restful and relaxed - all that a holiday should be. Our room was neat and clean and had a great view of the Lidder river. The service at this place and the food was extremely good. On our request they made Kashmiri dishes which were delicious. I loved the Haak saag, ask them to make it for you too ! You can sit out on the hotel lawn with hot tea talking to other guests. The place is close to main market and we had ***y lunches at Sagar Ratna which has opened an outlet in Pahalgam. Lavender Park, 5 min walk from the hotel is beautiful and a must visit. We loved our stay at Alpine Inn and plan to visit again.

Awesome place & excellent hospitality , best place to stay in Pahalgam , location is perfect , its 10 minutes from the market & still away from the Hustle bustle of the city center. Special mention to the team at Alpine Inn Tariq ( ***ager) , Mohammed Hussain ( Master Chef), Jugnu & Irfan , they made sure our stay was comfortable & treated us like family. The mini garden in July had rose bushes blossoming in the reddest hue over the dew kissed lawns. Simply awesome for sit outs. The reivew view from the room is amazing. Special mention about the food they served it was excellent & the best we had during our trip. This will always be my go to place for my future visits.

We , a family of three adults travelled directly to Pahalgam from Mumbai. The plan was to spend a few peaceful days in the mountains , by the riverside. And how memorable it turned out to be , thanks to the heartwarming hospitality and meticulous arrangements by Team Alpine Inn. The quote was attractive , the booking prompt and the accommodation was as requested, as we had contacted M Yasin Ganaie Ji the proprietor, directly. He came across as a thorough gentle*** in all our communications. The staff welcomed us cheerfully and made us feel at home; the ***ager Tariq Ji , the assistants Jugnu and Irfan treated us like family. The chef M Hussain Ji was at his best , we must say ! The meals and desserts were homely and the Kahwa rejuvenating. The facilities are simple and adequate. The charm and warmth of the cottage completes the holiday feeling, in a pure and humble way at this quaint little abode which is beautiful inside out. For those who’d like to stay connected , the wifi is good and the electricity back up is in place during the frequent power outages. The taxis and ponies are easily arranged for. 
We were informed that the upstairs room would tend to get crowded for three adults , we insisted on having it nevertheless , to get the river view. We were glad we did. 
For those who wish for peace and tranquility, this is the place !
