Can't beat the price. Basic but heat worked, shower was hot and it was clean.

More space than I expected for the price. Seating area up front, bed space with worktable, and kitchen area with sink, microwave, and refrigerator. High speed wifi and cable TV. Conveniently located. Near I-81 exit, to places to eat, and gas station.

This family-run motel is like taking a trip back in time, before cookie cutter motels with standard decor mandated by a corporate designer in some head office thousands of miles away. It was clean, comfortable and (in a good way) straight out of the 70's. (but with modern TV)
It is a great deal, I recommend that you take advantage of this wonderful time capsule.

Allen's was cozy and clean. There was a fridge in the room . The bed was good enough for me . There was adequate hot water ,towels,etc .The lady who runs the motel was quite pleasant...we had a nice chat . All around..a nice experience . I did not expect the Taj Mahal ,and it met my expectations .

We would stay here again. It’s very convenient and inexpensive for our purpose of visiting family. Very clean. Staff is friendly. Our biggest issues were the highway noise (obviously nothing can be done about that) and the mattress was not very comfortable.
