Diamond Villas

I really don’t know where to start . This is our 5th time in Paphos in the past few years . On arrival first impression looked - and I say looked at a glance clean ! We went to the local supermarket to stock up with some basics although there were some milk / butter ham and cheese a few t bags and some coffee sachets . Bearing in mind there was 4 of us - I’m so glad as there was 6 cups none matched , glasses in the cupboard sticky as that needed all washed - by hand as dishwasher did not work properly. No matching cutlery and 5 knives even though a villa for 6 people ! They would have been better buying a shop load of cutlery and crockery so it was at least matching . No dust pan and brush for indoors and the mop was an old scraggy mop kept outside I wouldn’t even wash the pathway with . We made the most of our holiday as spent a lot of time sightseeing and in the out door pool and using the bbq as the oven didn’t work either . The worst thing was on packing up we realised there was no working smoke alarm so Jet 2 had actually passed this as a 4 * and my children upstairs we’d put at risk . I really hope they reassess this and if u have booked this please ask to change villas .Im trying to add some photos but it won’t let me 😡

Diamond Villa number 5 is an excellent, destination with all the privacy you want but without being in the middle of nowhere. Clean, well maintained and a few welcome essentials in the fridge when we arrived. Was really pleased to find such comfortable beds, better than the usual Mediterranean offerings. Efficient air conditioning too, Lovely garden with good sized pool and toys for kids. There are half built properties across the road but they appear to have been abandoned. However, noise on Saturday with new build further down the road was intrusive. Probably the same wherever you stay. Very pleasant owner who stopped by to see if we needed anything. The only downside to the villa was the gardener's visit. We were at the poolside, midmorning, when 2 men suddenly appeared. We went indoors. Nothing happened for a while then one of the gardeners left. After a while the other one proceeded to trim the four bushes at the front. We went out, leaving the gardener to his siesta sitting in the driveway. When we returned later he was still there but shortly afterwards he started on the back garden which again meant we couldn't use the pool area. Eventually we went out to dinner and by the time we came back it was dark. Unbelievably he was still there and now his partner had comeback to help him tidy up. If gardeners turn up when you are staying there my advice would be to tell them to come back at another time. If you are travelling with older or infirm people it would not be suitable as there are lots of steps and no handrails as well as no steps into the pool. Despite the gardeners I would be happy to return.

The villas are okay but nothing special, the swimming pool is well maintained and great for cooling down but the local beach is no good for anyone wanting a regular swim in the sea, as it’s full of massive rocks. If you have a rental car you can travel to Potima beach but then again without sand shoes you will cut your feet to ribbons on the sharp pebbles. The sea is extremely fierce making swimming a challenge and dangerous with the undercurrents. A better place to swim is round the coast in Akrotiri Bay. As for Diamond Villas it is surrounded by properties with dogs that compete with each other to see who can bark the loudest, not the thing you need for a relaxing holiday.

We have been a few times to these villas over 4 years and the hosts are very welcoming with a fridge with a good supply of groceries. The villas are very spacious and comfortable. The gardens are well maintained and the pool is perfect in the hot seasons. Last September our flight going home was late and the manager of Diamond Villas (Nondas) allowed us to use another one of their villas until we left which he didnt need to do . The villa has everything we need to have an enjoyable holiday. We are returning again in May and September this year. Highly recommend staying here for a quite stay.

Such a beautiful villa. Was worried as read bad reviews but Villa 5 was amazing. As a family of 7 it was perfect and still loads of space. Amazing pool, lovely arrival hamper and great communication from owners. Already booked for 2 weeks next year as didn't want to leave. Do recommend a weekly bus pass for €20 euros per adult as can get everywhere.

Myself and my partner stayed in Villa No. 1 for ten days which is a spacious 3 bedroom (2 x Double and 1 x Twin) and 2 bathroom villa. Both bathrooms have over the bath showers which worked well but I would consider getting out of a bath if you perhaps have mobility issues. Every room has decent Air conditioning units on the wall which have their own remote controls. There is a decent oven and hob, Dishwasher and Washing Machine and a good area for being able to dry clothes . The outside area is fabulous and I would have been happy to have stayed outside 24/7. The pool is maintained every couple of days and any issues I did have with anything were dealt with straight away . The service you receive from Nondas and George is second to none. Our flight wasn't due to leave until 11.30pm and Nondas was more than accommodating to allow us to stay until we were ready to leave the villa. The villa for us was in a perfect place at approx 4km from the centre of Paphos which made it a peaceful place to stay. I can't say enough about our stay as I loved it. If you want a peaceful setting, with fabulous hosts and a great villa then this is for you I will definitely be booking again. Thankyou. 💞

Perfect villa, clean, great location, walking distance to beach promenade, all the necessary equipment including kitchen, garden and pool are well maintained. Owner is very nice and responds quickly with any issue. Warmly recommended.

the villas were great clean and so welcoming. the owner has stored in the fridged some fresh gocery allready so we could eat in the morning and start our day. it was my first time there and i will definently come back again and keep arraanging it with the owner nandas.

Absolutely Superb - Great space, very clean, beds are super comfy. Ample parking and the gardens are kept beautifully. The space is great for just the two of us but next time we are bringing friends with us meaning we all get our own space with ensuite which is perfect. The Pool area is newly laid and is spacious (loads of shade if you want it and loads of sun if you don't) furniture seats plenty (just as well as we had a load of friends come and visit for a BBQ. The Gardens and the Pool were cleaned and mowed regulally during our trip. Great location and all round a superb Villa. Highly Recommend.
