Hotels near Cedre Sur Seine in Paris

Stopped for 1 night, chose as the nearest hotel to the airport to catch the flight in the morning. Depressed grey design, dirty carpets at the entrance, staff not wearing badge. The respiratory rooms were confused, our friends gave the key to the busy room, well that the guests we woke up (we settled at 1 hour of the night) closed the door to the chain. Our room was e-chaiter, stove, refrigerator. The designer was probably with a good sense of humor because between the sandwich and the head of the bed instead of the wall a big transparent window! It can be closed with a curtain, but! The curtain is located on the side of the room, that is, only the person in the room decides to close them or open))) is not much if you sleep a little bit, when the light is on in the toilet, the feeling that the light is on in the room above your head. The interior is scratched, scratched on the floor, table, windows go out to the parking and they are very dirty. No soap and shower hat, e. the soots are uncomfortable and they are few, part is located in the floor itself, there is over the e. the stove, but there is no bed. Breakfast is scarce, cruissant, toasts, jam, cheese, sausage, surprised plastic devices! In general, the hotel creates the impression of uncomfortable and unpleasant, one night can be stayed, but there is no desire to return here.

We stayed at GW for two nights. Montparnasse station and Danfer Rochelow station are about 13 minutes walk. Since the airport bus departing and arriving at Montparnasse station is gone, it is very convenient to be able to go to the airport without changing by RER from Danfer Rochelow station. The subway is about 8 minutes from Gete Station. Since it is a hotel on a big street, the surroundings are bright and you are not afraid to walk at night. Moreover, it is quiet at night. It is convenient because the monoprix grocery store near Montparnasse station is open until 23:40. One of the male staff at the front desk was surprised that he was good at Japanese. In addition, he was very kind. Breakfast is served with baguettes and petit size croissants, pan o chocolate, pan orezan in a basket. The baguette was delicious. Drinks can be served in a pot with coffee, tea or chocolate. Orange juice is also available. Then there are a few kinds of shelves of Financier, yogurt, jam and cheese. I thought I would go out to eat if breakfast was too much, but it was enough. Due to the depreciation of the yen, the hotel in Paris for the first time in 4 years was very expensive, and I was worried about where to stay, but I chose this place and it was the correct answer. There is a classic elevator and the rooms are large enough. There is no refrigerator in the room, but it was a very good hotel considering the price.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. We asked for a quiet room, and received a reply saying that our request would be taken into consideration. I am still getting copies of that message every few days a week later, it is clearly auto generated and not true. The air con was not working. They knew this as we checked in but did not tell us. After wasting time trying to fix it we spoke about it and asked to change rooms. We were facing a. Night of either it being hot and stuffy, or following their brilliant advice and leaving the windows open to the noise and police sirens of the street. It was not a good nights sleep, and tha is all I demand of a hotel. We will not be going back. Ok, but it could be better

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

I stayed here for work in September 2020. I enjoyed my stay for several reasons. Firstly the hotel is easy to find on the main road into the hotel zone. Secondly, the rooms are large and I had a suite which gave me a kitchenette, living area and separate bedroom, bathroom and toilet plus a terrasse with opening doors. The gym was excellent and the spa looked really nice - I didn't have time to try the pool but the whole area was very clean and well-looked after. The decor in the room was quite sober, the paintwork is a little tired in the room but overall it gave a good impression. The bed was comfortable and I particularly liked the shower gel and other products provided, as well as the intelligent TV to which I could wirelessly connect both my laptop and my Windows Phone (yes, really). The only issue was the wind noise coming through the glass doors to the terrasse. Try as I might I could not get it to stop completely, perhaps the curved shape of the building and the metal frame of the terrasse was to blame. But it is a minor point! Staff were absolutely fabulous, and went well beyond even my high expectations.

I checked into this hotel on March 17th. On March 18th I left the hotel at 11:50 noon. I was the only one in the quadruple room when I left. Other tenants have checked out. I am also confirming that my 20-inch suitcase is locked. And double locked in the 30-inch luggage. And the laptop is locked in the iron cabinet provided by the hotel, and the lock is double-checked. before leaving the room. PM 18:40 I return to the hotel. After charging in the lobby on the first floor, return to the second floor at 19:40 PM. When I opened the door with a magnetic card, I found that the 20-inch suitcase was taken out of the 30-inch suitcase. Both pieces of luggage had been vandalized open and things were missing. The lock on the iron cabinet was also damaged, and the laptop inside was not taken away. I immediately went downstairs to inform the hotel counter and asked her to come upstairs with me. Later, the hotel staff invited me to the police station. I hurried to the police station, and the police station asked me to call 17 when I went back to the hotel. They will follow the procedure. After returning to the hotel, I called at 22:50 PM to 17. At 23:09 PM, the police went to the hotel to understand the scene. One of the policemen who arrived that night told us that room 305 of this hotel had also been burglarized last week. At 11:00 AM on March 19, some policemen went to the hotel room to take photos and questioned me again. They asked me to come to the police station to report the incident. My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

The location is unbeatable as far as distance from many historic attractions. For the price of the room ($700) it is quite expensive as the room is simple, as are the amenities. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. When I went to ask about a power adapter, the person I spoke to was short and rude with me. My partner is French and everyone was more friendly with him and willing to help.
