Hotels near Little India in Paris

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! I stayed for one night to take the train from Gare du Nord early the next morning. The hotel is in front of the station, about a 2 minute walk. The road to the station was flat and it was easy to move around while pushing a suitcase. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is convenient. Alcohol sales will end at 5pm. It doesn't seem to be very safe outside the station. Hotel rooms are clean. The space is small and there is no place to step when two suitcases are spread out. When I closed the window, I couldn't hear any outside noise and it was quiet. I think it's a good place to stay the night before using North Station.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

Had a really good stay there! I went with one friend and we met amazing people! The bar is cheap and nice!! A perfect way to meet new friends from around and from the hostle. I recommend. Our windows was broken and they fixed it! It’s not Wow but it’s still cute! The bathroom is really basic.

In Paris you tend to get what you pay for so if you book a budget hotel, lower your expectations!! That said, this hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. When I got to my room it was very clean, with a comfy bed and basic looking shower that actually supplied plentiful hot water. The guys at reception were pleasant. They let me drop my bag off prior to check in and let me leave it for a bit after I checked out. For sure there is noise from the street but as a city girl, I was not bothered and it was not excessive. Because the floors are not carpeted (they have new looking lino type floors) the noise from someone upstairs who did not take their shoes off was much more distracting!! The stairs could do with a good scrub to be more aesthetically pleasing but as I wasn't sleeping on them I didn't care. Super close to the Metro at La Chappell and an easy walk to Gare de I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. All in all, much better than I expected and I would stay again

We asked for a quiet room, and received a reply saying that our request would be taken into consideration. I am still getting copies of that message every few days a week later, it is clearly auto generated and not true. The air con was not working. They knew this as we checked in but did not tell us. After wasting time trying to fix it we spoke about it and asked to change rooms. We were facing a. Night of either it being hot and stuffy, or following their brilliant advice and leaving the windows open to the noise and police sirens of the street. It was not a good nights sleep, and tha is all I demand of a hotel. We will not be going back. Ok, but it could be better

Great little hotel, convenient for Gare du Nord and other metro stations. Room was spotlessly clean, really spacious for the 4 of us, with the kids beds behind a partition. Reception staff were very helpful. A special mention to the ladies looking after breakfast who were very helpful with my questions about allergies and the food, they showed me the packet of the thing I asked about so I could check for myself. That was really important for me and they were kind and patient about it. Thank you.

It was wonderful to be there, thanks for having us and providing good services. Everything was superb, value for money. I don't understand why people have given the bad ratings, I stayed on the 5th floor, the room was clean and properly set up, the shared washroom was properly cleaned and sanitized, the bed was super comfortable, and what else? An iron they gave for clothes, a really good shared shower room. The hotel should be listed at 5 stars. I found nothing wrong. The staff was nice and helpful. We went for a quick trip for 2 days for a Proposal photoshoot and our budget was really less and F1 was the only hotel offering the pricing as per our budget, we were afraid to see the reviews on TA but still thought of trying It. Trust me, everything was excellent, much more than expected. I will stay always there for future trips, will not waste money on expensive hotels unnecessarily which are equally Good. Give it a try yourself and I am sure you are going to love it.

Good location for the cost, easy to get to from CDG, close to the Opera and 2 other metro stations to explore. The room is a bit small, but comfortable. I would improve the ventilation in the bathroom.

True to its brand, this 25Hours hotel has style in spades. The room was stylish and comfortable and the hotel service was quick, attentive, and helpful. The location of this hotel is basically perfect. You're a short subway or bus ride away from most of Paris's many attractions and located directly across the street from one of the city's largest train stations, meaning you have access to trains going all over France, including to the Paris's airports, meaning loads of taxis are also nearby. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and my stay. My only complaint is that the rooms lighting seemed to be harsh and needlessly complicated in the hope of looking cool. In the end, I unscrewed several of the bulbs.
