I had an amazing stay at Yunhe Meet B&B. The Minsu is located in the village not far from the scenic spot ticket office. The owners are a lovely couple and their son, they are very caring and communication was not a problem. We used wechat and phone translate to take with the son and ladyboss. They offered me welcome snacks and more snacks after my hike. Breakfast was very very generous and freshly prepared for local dishes with local ingredients. I had a room with 2 single beds which are quite large soit didn’t feel like a single bed, recommended for a solo traveler if the queen bed isn’t available. Water was warm and shower had good pressure. Everything is very clean. Auntie took me to the park entrance with her electric mini truck to help me catch the morning bus. The hotel is in central location, walking distance to the old part of town and surrounded by food options. All rooms face a busy intersection with traffic and commerce noise starting early in the morning until 10pm. Windows will block part of noise but not all. Gym is just a pair of treadmills, don't expect a workout space. Staff is very attentive and willing to help. Beds, pillows and sheets are comfortable and the shower is good. However, if you are not a smoker, I don't recommend staying here, nor in any other Ji hotel. I travel extensively and tried Ji hotels in several Chinese cities from North to South. They are consistent with service, cleanliness and bed comfort, but all of them have a major issue of not enforcing the non smoking rule, and besides that, their air conditioner system brings smokey air from different rooms directly into yours. It is a pity. Unfortunately, beautiful China is full of selfish smokers. We need better enforcement and at least air purifiers in each room.

When we walked around the village, we found other B&Bs under construction. It turned out that the host was helping to build houses for others. . The proprietress' cooking skills are very good, hotel-level. Our two families, four adults and two children, went out to play together. When the boss saw it, he took the initiative to upgrade us to a large suite, two independent suites plus a living room in the middle, and a small yard in front of the door.
