I originally booked a first-floor room, but because it was the off-season and I was the only guest, I was upgraded to the second floor. The small staircase had a retro feel. The owner even helped take photos upon arrival; their photography skills were excellent. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small (maybe it was related to the room type I booked), the mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom light was a bit dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great.
