Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is a little way out of the city on a busy street. The windows isolate the street noise quite well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my room wasn't completely clean. Even after I pointed this out, nothing was done about it. Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about.
GGuest UserThe hotel is clean with very good service, very pleasant to stay there in the city center of Mannheim. I have become a loyal customer at this establishment.
GGuest UserMy conference was well planned and the food was delicious and offered me a lot of choice as a vegetarian. The staff was friendly and always helpful despite the huge number of guests (due to the Mannheim Garden Show). Meeting rooms were poorly cooled on the first day.
The next day at lunchtime I couldn't pass on my room concerns because there were so many guests because my toilet seat (room 614) was already broken when I checked in and I had to be careful because of the risk of injury.
Otherwise everything was fine and I was able to enjoy my beer in the garden in the evening!
HHAIPINGStill very nice hotel
Relative to this price, the hotel room is not small, quite large, and ample.
The hotel’s breakfast is very recommended, 8.9 Euros every day, full variety, and very well managed.
The room is fairly clean and the bathroom layout is reasonable.
The location is not close to the train station, not too easy to find, but not far from the Mannheim water tower.
The staff is very welcoming.
GGuest UserThe room faces the iconic water tower, offering an unbeatable view; you could stand by the window and gaze out all day. The hotel itself is an old building, but the interior is decorated like a palace, somewhat reminiscent of the Grand Budapest Hotel. Although the room is small, it's clean and tidy, and all amenities are provided. The breakfast is very generous, and the restaurant has a warm, retro ambiance.
GGuest UserThe location right next to the train paths is good near the station and that's too bad because there's noise of trains and it's not a very nice area we say. The 21m2 studio was very well equipped with a very complete small kitchen (even a small washing machine), bed, table and bathroom. For what it is, the price is quite high but it was impossible to get that type of accommodation in the Heidelberg environment at those dates and what was available was even more expensive so it has well covered our needs during both week that we had unfortunately needed a place to stay with my university son before we could occupy his shared apartment with students. Autonomous entrance and exit, cleaning once a week, pay-per-home washing machines, supermarkets in the surrounding area.
AAnonymous UserVery good, the room is relatively old, the furniture is a bit old, the light is not very bright at night, but it is very quiet, the room is quite big
MmelisaIt's a very good hotel with good conditions in all aspects. It's clean and sanitary. I couldn't borrow a kettle at the front desk, but they directly poured me a cup of boiling water for making tea. The service is very good.
