Anonymous UserWe booked this hotel for a last-minute trip to Nagoya, choosing it as one of the city’s newest luxury hotels. Prior to arrival, it was difficult to reach the hotel to arrange spa bookings, and the process took quite some time. Even upon check-in, making spa reservations through the front desk felt complicated, so we eventually visited the spa directly to enquire.
The wellness facilities, including the pool and fitness centre, were excellent, though advance booking was required, which could be inconvenient. Service throughout the stay could have been more flexible, especially when our food delivery arrived and the team was unable to hold it briefly at the concierge while we came down to collect it.
That said, the location was great for sightseeing around Nagoya.

Facilities: The room isn't small for Japan, and it cleverly utilizes every corner. You can open your suitcase without obstructing the walkway.
Cleanliness: If you want your sheets changed daily, you can place the change card on the bed. However, there's always a lingering smell in the bathroom and toilet.
Environment: Located in the Sakae shopping district, it's super convenient for shopping. You can use the underground mall to reach major department stores when it's raining or hot. The hotel is in the Chunichi Building, and the Montbell store on the 2nd floor offers tax refunds and has a good selection of goods.
Service: The front desk staff always greet you when you pass by. The room view is excellent.

Guest UserI'm extremely satisfied with this hotel's location and room layout/amenities. The Rong business district has everything you could possibly need for dining and shopping. I booked a larger room type, which was essentially the price and size of two standard rooms. I saw a family of three next to me convert the sofa bed into a single bed, which seems perfect for them. As mentioned in previous reviews, the hotel staff can be quite aloof; the older local employees don't offer any pleasantries. I appreciate that you need to swipe your card in the elevator to access guest floors, making it feel very secure.

TuranxiangjiazhuangwenyiqingnianThe hotel rooms in Japan are generally small, but this one was fully equipped and very clean. The soundproofing was also excellent. It was perfect for a couple with a child and offered great value for money. While it's a bit of a walk from the station, once you know the route, it's quite close. The surrounding area is very convenient with plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment.

Guest UserA very satisfying stay.
1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process.
2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue.
3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up.
4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient.
Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.

Anonymous UserI came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

GbooThis is a Meitetsu Inn property, so the rooms are on the smaller side, with typical Japanese unit baths. At night, the street below transforms into a vibrant, neon-lit entertainment district.
The location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, and right by Hisaya-odori Subway Exit 4, just a five-minute walk away.
The breakfast on the first floor, though simple, is quite good. The restaurant offers complimentary tea and coffee all day (until 9 PM) and has a microwave. Vending machines are located on the 4th and 11th floors. There's also a self-service laundry.
Amenities are available for self-service right next to the elevators on the first floor, facing the front desk.
The front desk service was the most 'Showa-era' (old-fashioned, warm, and attentive) hospitality I've ever encountered – incredibly friendly.
Perhaps because it was a Saturday, the price I paid seemed to be about double the usual rate. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserThe room was larger than I expected, and the view was fantastic, offering a partial glimpse of Nagoya's city center. The hotel is located on a relatively busy street, so even when returning late as a solo traveler, I felt quite safe. The room's furniture and fixtures were a bit dated, but that didn't bother me as it was very clean. I could fully open my suitcase on the floor and still move around freely, which was very comfortable.
The soundproofing could be better; I could hear doors opening and closing in nearby rooms, and occasionally faint conversations, but it was still within an acceptable range for me.
There's a Family Mart on the third floor, accessible by elevator, and the bus terminal is also there. This is incredibly convenient for tourists planning to take a bus to more distant destinations. On my last day, it was also very easy to take the Meitetsu Line to the airport. Highly recommended!

ChennianwangshiThe location is quite convenient. However, the single and double rooms are the same size, which makes them feel too cramped. The breakfast is decent, but it gets incredibly crowded, with queues extending all the way to the elevators. The environment is chaotic and the management needs to improve to avoid such long lines.
