Rema resort is located excellently, over looking a river with a spa, restaurant and a bar that offer great views. The rooms are well designed and spacious. The restaurant offers local bhutani cuisine and the buffet offers a mix of Indian, local and continental options. The food is tasty. The spa is good and the special feature is the hot stone bath. The staff is well trained and they are always smiling.

Rema resort has staff that stands out from other hotels in terms of their punctuality, politeness and helpful attitude across the clock. The room we stayed in was right beside the river and the sound of flowing water was very soothing to sleep to. Amenities were on point and the decor was cosy with hand-painted walls. Food was excellent in their on-site restaurant and a sumptuous display of dishes always greeted us for meal times. Staff makes sure to check in and plan ahead in terms of personalised details such as packed breakfast for travellers with their guides heading out early. In the evenings, one can head out for a walk and sit by the river or amble into Paro town which is a short walk away.

Wonderful place and amazing staff. The rooms are spacious, the resort is on a small hillock and the views are mesmerizing. They have a small restaurant and they have a decent breakfast spread. The staff is always helpful to make your stay pleasant and ensure that you get the most of the stay. Certainly visiting again.

This peaceful, traditional beautifully appointed place was the first and last place I stayed on my trip to Bhutan. It overlooked the Paro Valley and I could sit forever in the gardens relaxing. The restaurant and bar were both inviting and the food delicious. I went to the spa and had not one but two Bhutanese massages and a hot stone bath. The restaurant surprised me with a cake and song on my birthday. The staff was king and warm and the owner made a point of welcoming me and making sure I was comfortable and happy. . I loved this stay and would not only recommend the resort to others but would return there myself.

A pity that my stay was only for one night. A great location, with a view over the Paro valley and the Dzong, a room with a separate terrace and all needed for a pleasant stay.: coffee corner, treated water, which is safe to drink, comfortable bed . This place is within walking distance of the main street in town, some 25 minutes walking. We had dinner in the hotel and we got many different dishes of vegetables, red rice and who wanted, chicken or beef. All very tasty. The staff was very helpful when I had difficulty connecting to the internet. Would have stayed here several days if possible. Tip: Try to stay at least two nights, and ask for a room in the row with the view. They have a spa too, plan to have some time there. Sitting area outside door View of Paro towards the Dzong Row of rooms with the view Heating and and umbrella for guests use.

We stayed at Rema Resort for 3 days and had the best time. From the moment we checked in, we were lost in the sheer beauty of the resort and it’s location. Our room overlooked the river and the beautiful Paro valley. The staff was courteous and upon chatting with the owner, we got to know that a lot do what we eat is grown at the resort - a true farm to table experience. The rooms have no plastic water bottles which is a great step towards sustainability and being mindful towards the environment. Also got some pretty paintings as souvenirs which will remind us of our lovely time in Rema and Paro forever! Thank you!

When you find an amazing place that feels like family, you know you've found a gem. Tshering is a wonderful owner and the food served is out of this world. Fresh, healthy, and environmentally friendly, this is a place you can relax and enjoy.

Rema resorts is a terrible place, shouldn’t even be called a resort. I am right there on 31st Dec 22 and feel like a prisoner. My booking was through Makemytrip (MMT) unfortunately, they have lost credibility as a holiday planner, at the most, booking agent would be more appropriate defining term. No one minds paying extra margin to a holiday planner so long as it plays the role. Pl review and reconsider MMT as a holiday planner and Rema as a night shelter. Key points of Rema: Place 3/5 Room 2/5 Staff 2/5 Food 1/5 Courtesies 1/5 Attitude 1/5 Key points of Makemytrip MMT Communication: Too much Effective communication: Nil Follow up for simple matters: Too much Response: Ineffective Charge and margin: Disproportionate to the delivery
