Copper Chase Condominiums

Our stay in Brain Head after the ski season was quiet. There were very few people in the units. The pool and jacuzzi looked nicely maintained. We were in Brian Head for the sole reason to find a unit not too far from the National Parks. The unit was nicely decorated and well maintained.

We used the resort as a base to travel to National Parks..Zion,Bryce, Escalante, and kanab...a bit of a drive, but the roads to get there were half the trip. AMAZING!

We booked a reservation at Copper Chase Resort Utah, ID #1057 and walked into a disaster. We were emailed that the pool and spa area would be closed through the month of May arriving on 8-18-2023. The pool and spa area was still under major construction, dust, everywhere and concrete air hammered out. Upon entering unit 106. We were shocked that this was an RCI unit, the hot water heater area had parts of the ceiling missing and insulation hanging down, the shower doors had lime deposit so thick you could not see through them. The carpeting was filthy and torn in areas, dust all over the place, rodents crawling on the bed at night across my arm!!! a sofa we didn’t dare sit on. We could go on and on but I think you got the message.

I like the idea of self-check-in, but that doesn't work if they are not able to provide you with the correct room number and key code combination, then guests, like myself, are unable to get a hold of anyone for quite some time to get into a room. The resort smelled musty, tables in the common areas were covered in dust, carpet, chairs, and all fixtures were extremely worn out. The room was dirty with dust, there were no sheets available for the couch bed (that I had specifically booked for my children), but the ABSOLUTE WORST: there was a DIRTY USED WASH CLOTH in the unit shower with someone else's hair all over it. We checked out after two nights, when we had paid for a 7 night stay, because we were so uncomfortable and disgusted, and nobody was responding to assist us with these concerns.

The resort is located in the mountains and is somewhat secluded with a small town nearby. We went during the end of ski season so it was nice and quiet, although within driving distance of Zion and Bryce and other national parks.

This building is extremely outdated & run down. Carpets in public spaces are filthy, furniture is outdated & not inviting. Pool is dirty & cloudy. Gym equipment isn’t maintained. Garage is dirty & parking is very limited. Maintenance is taking up at least 3-4 possible parking spaces with random equipment.

Parking garage was very convenient. Brian head ski resort also provided a shuttle service for skiers/snowboarders so that worked out nicely the couple times we used it. We mostly just drive the 3 minutes to take everyone in our party to the ski resort each day. Rooms could do with a little updating. And the corridors from garage to the unit was pretty dirty and needed replacing but otherwise we were satisfied with the unit itself.

This resort is old, out dated, spa was broken, unit was not comfortable with missing kitchen items. Shower head was clogged, jacuzzi tub not working. No staff anywhere except on Fridays, and the unit needs a remodel in a bad way.

The condos are old, run down, and filthy! There is dust everywhere!! The wife has COPD and is constantly coughing, We are both always blowing out noses which are full of dust!!! And, this is the only condo in the RCI network where we had to pay a non-refundable $159.00 cleaning fee LOL?¿???!!! Calling or leaving messages with the manager go unanswered!!! Apparently the pool and hot tub have been broken for a year!! Enclosed stairwells to parking garage are deep with dust!!!! Tammy the manager will not return any calls???? She is in room 100? The only redeeming quality is that we are surrounded by Beautiful mountains and National Parks!! Cedar Breaks National monument is only 4 miles away!!! Zion and Bryce Canyon are a short drive away!!! It is a place to sleep only!! Have traveled world wide; South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and everywhere in-between. Few if any places worse!!!
