Aldemar Olympian Village

We paid 2600€ for our stay and received a dirty unhygienic room with many aesthetic as well as hygienic issues and also one safety issue (electric kettle issue). Rust in the living room and bathroom (decorations, sink, bathtub), cracks in the wall, wall paint falling off, carpet full of stains, beach towel inside apartments AC shaft, lying relations manager who instead of solving reported issues said we should seek his assistance the next day even though he knew he had vacation on that day so we won't be able to reach out to him. After hard struggle, lots of nerves and two days, they agreed to change the room for a cleaner one even though they claimed first that they are fully booked for the whole week and I was able to make a new reservation through their webpage (simply lying and unfriendly staff). Food was very disappointing as there was every morning the same kind of food for breakfast, same food for every lunch and same food for every dinner. Yes you can eat how much you want, but imagine to eat 7 days straight the same stuff. The absolute disrespect towards us as a customer was a situation when we arrived at our apartment after 8PM and we found our entrance door open, we've been shocked that there's some robbery taking place, but when we entered the apartment, there was a maintenance personnel who was doing something with the wall plug and could not speak English thus we couldn't find out what was going on and why is he even there. After we arrived he just packed his toolbox and said the word "Problem" and took off. We immediately contacted the receptionist about the situation and they declined to provide any information/reason why was the maintenance personnel in our apartment or what was the problem. We just have to believe our personal stuff wasn't touched or stolen, but our privacy was definitely violated. Absolutely NOT worth 5* and definitely not worth the money, one of the worst vacations you can buy and worst Aldemar resorts so far.

Poor First Impressions, Rude receptionist didn't explain anything, baggage guy expected a tip and didn't bring bags into room, welcome pack of wine, fruit & sweets not in room. Given swim up room not swim up bungalow that we paid for. 5.45pm and nowhere open to eat till 7pm in an All Inclusive resort. Refused entry into Olympian buffet as receptionist had given wrong bands. Pool toilet filthy restaurant toilet no lock on door and reception toilet pooh all over floor! Complained to be asked for €600 extra to move us to the room we booked in first place. Complained 2 days later moved to a better bungalow but beds were like twin camp beds so uncomfortable. No amenities in bathrooms other than just shampoo & shower gel. All Inclusive is a big joke- A La Carte restaurants are all chargeable, Olympian buffet resteraunt only 1 drink free, also room beverages water tea, coffee are chargeable once you need a top up, fridge has a few soft drinks again chargeable if you want replacing. Our agent Blue Bay Travel advertises no hidden extras and 7 AI restaurants however Manager said this was not correct and the resort is not fully AI. He did his best but this was the worst 5 star hotel we have ever staid in, cold food in buffets, additional charges, nothing in room, poor beds and dirty resort. We have been lucky enough to travel to some of the best resort and hotels in the world, this is one of the worst ever, avoid if you are a British couple, seems family and European travelers get a better service..

Loved it! Will be returning in 2024 Report is huge with plenty of pools and dining and bars. We were on an all inclusive plan which was brilliant and we ate in the restaurants on many nights. Service was good in all the restaurants other than an odd waiter here or there. Pools were definitely busy but we loved the beach and the surrounding g area beaches. We had a family bungalow which was a bit small because the living space had no alearate seating than the single beds. Next time I think we try the shared pools which looked quieter.

The best animation and sport team ever!!!For children and adults. I spend here wonderful time with you. Greeting for girls from Poland :) Restaurants- ok... but sometimes bread was not fresh...but drinks are very good:))Staff are very friendly.

We stayed with friends at the end of august. We liked the stay very much as the staff and the hotel facilities were great. We enjoyed trips around the place as well. When speaking about the SPA- it was my best experience ever. Highly recommend the hotel and would return again.

I do not normally travel twice to the same destination but Olympian Village is an exception. It has everything a summer holiday maker wants-beautiful sandy beaches, great services snd friendly staff. It is really a great value for money. Recommend.

We have stayed with family (2+2) in this wonderful resort. We are recommending this for families with children of any age. Excellent service, delicious food, great location. We had very good care by all personal. Trere is international staff of animators who will take care of you and children.

Abeliona - the best Greek restaurant in hole resort. Heaven on Earth. Mr Yiannis, Dionisis and Vasilis are really awsome guys. I felt like I've known them for all my life...♡ Delicious cousine in typical Greek atmosphere. I recommend this place for everyone. If you travel to Aldemar Resort visit this resteurant is obligatory.

We have stayed in one of the maisonettes, the area had a nice big pool that could be directly accessed from the terrace. The area has an adult only feel, and it might have been at some point, but is now predominantly a family area. The grounds of the whole resort are absolutely beautiful and kept immaculate. Most of the guests are Greek as the resort has a lot of parking space and is probably running special deals for domestic guests&families as we noticed most of them came for 2-3 nights over the weekend. The safe in our villa was not working when we checked in, but guest services were quick to resolve the issue and get us a new one installed. The food was plentiful, of good quality and mostly Greek, which we personally preferred, but some people might expect more international variety in this type of resorts. It's a pity the restaurant next to the maisonette area pool was closed for renovation as it would have been very convenient to have breakfast or some of the meals there. The staff was very helpful, cleaning and supplies provided twice a day, unlike most resorts, which we really liked. Everyone was kind and helpful, the cleaning ladies, the reception and guest service staff, the restaurant staff. The beach itself is sandy and pleasant (the water could get quite cold and with too many waves to swim in on the rainy days though), well organised, there are several beach bars to get coffee, drinks and relax. There are 2 very interesting conceptual boutique shops in the resort, with the same owner, which was very kind and helpful, sold beautiful branded items at a good price and we enjoyed shopping there. The souvenir shop and the supermarket was well equipped too. We enjoyed walking around the resort as it felt like an ancient Greek village, with lots of beautiful greenery, we absolutely loved that vibe. In conclusion, If you are looking for a very Greek experience, but still within a beautiful and well kept resort with all the comforts and activities to choose from and good food and service, we recommend this resort.
