My friends and I loved our stay here! The room was clean and well equipped with a big window, though the view wasn’t scenic like the pictures appear. The shower was great with lots of hooks, and a little laundry basket beside. Only issue is the toilet is electric and a little loud when used at night. The beds were incredibly comfy! The hostess was friendly and sent us recommended routes and restaurants, plus sent me a video showing me where to find the car charging station. Breakfast was simple eggs, soup, youtiao, siu mai, and corn milk. The downstairs dining are is lovely and cosy and we spent a few evenings relaxing downstairs. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to Dongbi Village for an amazing dinner with a view, but close to the toll booth leading to the main roads if you want to head south or north to Taimu Shan or the peninsula beaches.

The first guesthouse I stayed at in Taizhou was disappointing, so I was very worried about the experience at this guesthouse in Xiapu. Both rooms were very clean and comfortable, with sophisticated and stylish decor. Chunmei is much, much larger, with a loft layout, large floor-to-ceiling windows, a large bathtub, and a projector. You can see the sunset beautifully from inside, making it perfect for lounging all day. However, Shuiyuan Courtyard is probably one of the best outdoor viewing spots, with a private pool, tea room, and a balcony with a fireplace and a long table. The housekeepers were fantastic, a group of cheerful young people who were incredibly helpful and responsive to almost every request. They helped with everything from carrying our luggage and arranging check-in in advance to providing baseboard heaters when the weather got colder, delivering sweet soup every night, and even bringing laundry and a dryer for us. They also brought our drinks and food from the Chinese and Western restaurants to our room – very thoughtful. The food at the restaurants was delicious! After comparing several options, we preferred this place. This New Year's Eve was primarily a vacation, so we wanted to choose a place that was comfortable and relaxing in every way. Shijianhai met almost all our needs. For a lively, large group, Shuiyuan is a good choice; for a smaller, more relaxing group, Chunmei is recommended.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, but the TV remote doesn't have instructions, so having to call the staff every time I want to watch TV is inconvenient. Environment: The surrounding environment is nice; it seems to be in the county center, with plenty of restaurants and shops just downstairs, which is very convenient. They even proactively introduced local folk customs, such as when and which villages hold deity processions. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and spacious. I originally booked a standard double room, but I was very grateful for the free upgrade to a deluxe double room. The hotel also has free parking, which is very convenient for guests like us who are traveling by car. The restaurant on the second floor offers local specialties, but the only downside is that it gets extremely busy during the Spring Festival; you can't get a table without advance booking. Although prices increased during the Spring Festival, overall it was still acceptable, and the price-performance ratio was good.

There was no place inside the shop, but the terrace outside the shop had a better view. It was already the local most bourgeois internet celebrity check-in coffee shop. . The hotel has its own large parking lot, next to the national highway, and the transportation is convenient. It's still very quiet and not noisy at night. After dinner, reading and chatting in the tea room, listening to the sound of rain and the sound of frogs, is very healing and relaxing.
