Very good, a famous hotel worth recommending

-Great pool, always refreshing, quiet and clean. -Food was great. Breakfast for 8€ with anything you need. -Customer service was impeccable, everyone super friendly and helpful. Fabulous reception by one of the managers. -Room was big and had everything you need. Shower was hot and had good pressure. -Perfect location right between the beach and the action. All the shops, restaurants etc right at the door, but without noise. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The chef Robert Pragtish and his staff create not only great Thai food but excellent quality meat dishes in a lovely clean restaurant . It is always a pleasure to dine here. The day specials are surprisingly good value. I find Austrian gardens always use quality ingredients

A lovely surprise! We actually walked past this lovely restaurant and decided it looked both appealing and clean plus the menu was well written and the meals looked lovely. We decided to try and we were not disappointed! My partner had the snitzel and I had the grilledchicken. Both came with the most delicious home made sauces and cooked to perfection! On our way out I complimented the owner(andChef) who poured us a complimentary Grapa wine! We will be back!

Amazing place with Austrian food and chill atmosphere. Robert (the owner) is a great host and told us couple interesting stories. Austrian Schnapps is the best one. Strongly recommend to visit this place and try all sorts of Schnitzels and other nice food.

Excellent food and service. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We dined here on two occasions. The first night the food was so good, we had to come back for a second night. We preordered the Schweinshaxe (Crispy Pork Knuckle) and it did not disappoint. The knuckle was supplied fresh the same day and cooked superbly with lots of crackle and juices. On both occasions the portion sizes were generous and the service very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Pricing is very reasonable. Should we return to Phuket, we would definitely dine at and stay in their hotel and also recommend to any visiting Phuket.

Excellent food and service. Ate here on 2 occasions both times the food was excellent. Preordered the Schweinshaxe as a treat for the family and it was great. Best meal in Thailand on our 2 week visit

My Grandad stayed here for the first time. He’s 90 years of age. All staff were extremely welcoming & Thomas & Robert went out of there way to ensure he enjoyed his holiday. Special thanks to the lady who served him breakfast every morning & also the lady who cleaned his room. He has been to Thailand 24 x times & has now finally found a hidden gem. Looking forward to coming back!!

A gem of a property that is well maintained by friendly and helpful staff

Been here a few days. Can't find a thing wrong. So laid back, quiet. Lovely pool and garden. Great price perfect. I will come again. Rooms clean staff friendly. Great location. Would recommend to anyone

Excellent Hotel only 5 minutes walk to the best part of the beach for swimming. Far enough away from the noisy center of town to have a comfortable stay but close enough to the walk to the shops and commercial center. The staff and restaurant are great

The Austrian Garden is a true hidden gem. It's tucked away in a garden oasis, yet only a three minute walk to Patong beach. The restaurant has an extensive German menu, & Robert's team makes every post a winner. The hotel itself was spotless, and Thomas' staff just couldn't do enough to help. If you're interested in a well priced hotel with the best pool imaginable, ice cold beer, and great food, this one's for you.

The Austrian Garden Hotel is an oasis, nestled in a wonderful garden just three minutes by foot from Patong Beach. It's possibly Patong's best kept secret. The restaurant has an extensive German menu, managed effortlessly by Robert. The hotel itself is run by Thomas, whose staff are absolutely magnificent. The pool is azure blue, the beers are ice cold, and the atmosphere is ultra-relaxed.
