Second time staying here, excellent customer service. For a quick night stay, it checks the boxes.

Every staff member I came into contact with was really friendly and helpful. The room was really cute and clean. A large variety of breakfast options from cereal to bagels to waffles to eggs and sausage. They have juices and coffee as well. All included. I had a room next to the highway and as long as you leave the fan on all night, I slept well. Beds very comfortable. Lots of pillows. It is also close to the St Pete pier. You have to drive maybe 8 minutes. Very happy with my stay.

While it was just an overnight stay and the staff was very pleasant, the hotel lacked ambience. When the elevator brought us to the 5th floor, it was dark and gloomy. The bathroom needed an upgrade as bathtub rooms should be phased out. The room was clean however felt old and needed refreshing.

My first day was terrible, my room was right next to the interstate, and it was so noisy. I could not sleep the entire night . I requested to be moved to the other side and it was initially denied. However, the next day they decide to change me, Consequently next two nights I was able to sleep very well. I am grateful that they appreciative that they move me to another room.

The keys did not work. I heard other guests having the same issue. We were on the 5th floor and only one elevator serves that floor. So we’d have to wait for the other one to leave the lobby before we could get ours. Very inconvenient. The lobby was just strange and smelled funny. The breakfast was sub par. Very few options and the only fruit available was small oranges. The bagels were mini sized. Very disappointing stay for the money.

Urine smell on comforter and pillows. Tub/shower had black mold in joint between tub and wall. Carpet in room was worn out and filthy. Room and hallways smelled moldy and dirty. They did give me a different room after I complained. No urine on comforter or pillows but it was only marginally better. This hotel needs a complete remodel.

Room was dirty. Made the mistake of taking my shoes off and after an hour my feet with very dirty. Large red stain in carpet...given the people hanging around in front of the hotel, made me wonder if it was a crime scene and not a random spill. Even if it was a random spill, that should be fixed. We were as 'tired' as the decor in the room, so we dealt with the room that night. The next day, we complained about the room and said we were leaving (we were supposed to stay 3 days). They offered to move us to a different room, but why would we think another room would be better maintained? They told us we had to contact ******* for any refund even after we told them that we paid the hotel directly. ******* said they couldn't do anything because we paid the hotel directly, but did call the hotel to see if they could get the 2nd and 3rd nights refunded. The hotel said they'd refund the 3rd night only, which we were not happy about given the state of the room and the hotel overall. We'd get it if we were simply leaving early....but we were quite clear that the hotel did not meet our limited minimum standards....and did not feel we should be charged for a crappy product. Would sleep in the car before we stayed there again.

This hotel really needs updated!!! No exhaust in bathroom, old flooring also. Breakfast had little options compared to other Comfort Inns we have stayed at. The pool is not heated, so we couldn’t even swim because it was too cold. I would not recommend this hotel!!

Room was very clean and staff were very pleasant. However, I believe there should be grab bars in showers. There was nothing to hold onto getting in or out of tub. Also, I think 9:30 was a little early for complimentary breakfast to end.
