Unfortunately, I left my car key and passport at the property. They only returned the car key and kept the passport. Moreover, they proceeded to lie to me about mailing the passport to my home address. I blocked the passport and reported them to the police. Please be careful with your belongings.

These people are con artists. Asked me to cancel my booking through a well known website and deal direct with them. Stupidly I did it. On arrival with 4 kids they said we needed a second room as we couldn't fit in one room... despite having confirmed the numbers all along. Then they asked me to pay 400 euros for a 230 euro booking. I showed them the emails on my phone when they argued it all and that Id misunderstood. Room for 6, all written in emails and confirmed with them. I think these scammers thought that being late on the day of arrival and travelling with kids they'd have me cornered, but luckily I could walk out having been asked to pay cash and immediately booked better rooms nearby and for less. They are full of it, deceptive fraudsters and the room they showed me was like a 1980s youth hostel. Filthy with dirt and dust and poor quality furnishings. Lucky escape here. If you have a booking cancel it immediately and go elsewhere!!! I found a lovely place not far from here for half the price at 7pm in peak season. Glad I'm an experienced traveller with the confidence to say no and to deal with this sort of hassle even with young children with me. 30 mins later we were checked in and off tomorrow booked meal and the next day at the tower for our booked ascent. Don't be fooled. Read the similar experiences on here and other websites too.

Here are the facts, judge for yourself: Location: very good, close to the Tower. There is indeed a side view to the tower. You cannot reach it by taxi because it's in the pedestrian area. That also means you can't order a taxi to the airport, particularly at night (!). The closest meeting point for taxi orders is close to the tower, at Hotel Kinzica Reception: does not speak english, but google translate does the job. All in all it was not a problem. You will get a lot of keys: one for the building, one for the overall apar**ent / floor, one for the first door towards room 4 and one for the room itself. The big key is very tricky to use. Room (this if for room 4): double bed, desk, small couch, closet, cable tv (99% channels are Italian and dubbed in Italian). The room was very cold, we had to use 3 extra blankets. There is an A/C in the room, but since the room is tall and the A/C an older non-brand, it barely makes a difference in terms of warming up the room. Small mini-bar in the room with 2 beers and a juice. Bathroom: for room 4 you pass a small private hallway to reach the bathroom. The faucet was in a poor condition, shaky. Since it was cold overall, the towels provided were not getting dried. The drainage of the sink was barely working. Cabin shower ok - you get one sample of shampoo and one sample of shower gel for the whole stay (one per person). When I say sample I mean something the size of a teabag. You have a hairdryer. Wi-fi: poor connection. At least in the evening it was fading in and out. Breakfast included: the included breakfast means that you go at the restaurant downstairs and hand them a card. Colazione italiana means a coffee and a croissant. You will be told that breakfast is available at 8:15, but it's actually 8:50 which for us made it useless 2 days out of 3. Kitchen area is common and you can use the glasses and dishes available.

Very bad experience. As soon as we arrive we find ourselves in the center of Pisa for 30 minutes with our suitcases waiting for someone to come and open the door for us. They tell us that they couldn't be found because they missed our reservation and... surprise, they give us the room for just one night compared to the 2 booked without even coming to us with the price. As bad luck would have it, during the night my daughter wasn't feeling well with her intestines and, pointing this out to the manager, he informed me that I have no alternative, I have to leave the room. In summary: they didn't respect the reservation, they didn't come to meet us due to the inconvenience, we weren't able to visit Pisa, even losing the money for the booked entrance fees, and finally we found ourselves on the street with the little girl who wasn't well. Luckily I only stayed one night!! The owner was practically absent, she welcomed us, so to speak, only on the phone... we even did the check in on the phone!! Left alone in a structure that above all the door is open all the time (and it's hard to close it) so it's not very safe. The rooms are horrendous, in my opinion the photos were taken in another building and not in this one, television not working, fridge disconnected, very low and hard mattress ,...bathroom....equipped with: a strong smell of sewage, a lot of limescale in the shower, a bottle of almost finished hand soap and a mini sachet of shower gel which is not even enough for a shower. we received information regarding breakfast from the partner bar and not from the owner!!! absurd. Advice to the owner: instead of spying on us with cameras... be more present in the structure. You can't just collect the money

Quadruple room, at first sight you think: how beautiful! In reality, quite the opposite. Ants in the room, pitiful bathroom (dirty and old), non-existent sofa bed mattress. Bar breakfast: no choice. Croissants and cappuccino. I recommend the place solely and exclusively for the location. The rest, I'm sorry but everything needs to be reviewed.

Dirty rooms. Two inches of dust on the wardrobe. Extremely uncomfortable mattresses. My son slept on a chair bed! Doors that do not close properly and from which external light enters. Very rude staff welcomes without a mask and doesn't even ask for the Green Pass!! They ask for payment in cash and do not issue a receipt! Breakfast is taken in a bar with a measly cappuccino and a small croissant. Everything else is paid separately! Absolutely not recommended! There is better in the area at the same cost.
