This hotel was in a very prime location for the town. Safe and secure parking garage that you can come and go as you please. Very clean. Friendly staff! Helped with any questions I had. In the bathroom there is a wall place that says if you hang your towels, they won’t wash them. I didn’t mind reusing my towels, so I hung them each day. But everyday when I returned to my room, they had cleaned and replaced all towels. I even made my bed each morning and they would remake it.. I’m a very clean and tidy person and they went above and beyond even when I wasn’t trying to have everything replaced. They exceed my expectations.

Good hotel. I found good breakfast. Room with all confort.

I loved that you were right in the middle of everything where you can walk to many restaurants in minutes, walk all around the area, friendly people and for me it seemed everyone spoke English which made it so much easier. The hotel was very clean, staff always was there to help and in the morning breakfast to start the day. The thing I didn't like was the internet in the hotel itself, very slow, was frustrating at times.

Overdue for sharing my thoughts on my October 2021 stay at the Palace Hotel Moderno. The service by all the staff, reception, room service and during breakfast were all friendly & top notch. My room was clean, well appointed and had everything I needed (next visit I will ask for extra pillows). My room was on the side of the building closest to the Posta, a busy local watering hole and the crowd noise was not a problem. Local bakeries and Coop grocery close by to ensure I could stock the mini fridge with aqua frizante and snacks for late night. WiFi was fine, suited my needs perfectly. Looking very much forward to my return visit this October.

The location is very well-located, with plenty of dining and shipping options near by. The hotel offers free-parking, and is within a few minutes walking from the train station. Since it is centrally-situated, it may be a bit noisy at times, but the windows do well in shutting off the sound.

I tried to book the room and I made a reservation but I never got a confirmation. I reached out several times to confirm if I have the reservation but no reply. I booked another place near by last minute because I never heard back. I stayed there's a year and half ago and loved it. I wish I heard back so I could stay there again. I will try again if I ever decide to go again.

Great choice in this beautiful small town. The only thing is the room is too stuffy and have to open the window to get some fresh air. And it's super nice for a solo traveler.

Always great service and welcome

It was wonderful to return to the Palace Hotel Moderno for Le Giornate del Cinema Muto this year. The Palace Hotel Moderno is a lovely and conveniently located hotel. The rooms are clean and appointed with all you need. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are ready to serve or accommodate whatever you need. The daily breakfast is nothing short of fabulous. The variety of fresh croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, ham, cheeses, you name it. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly and I look forward to returning to Pordenone and the Moderno next year. **** all the way.

Of the four hotels I've stayed at in Pordenone, Hotel Moderno was the best, in terms of location, parking, and breakfast. It was the same price as two of the other hotels, but was the easiest to work with, with very nice staff. The only problem is that most of the rooms appear to have large single beds (with hard pillows), which makes it great for solo travelers but not as good for couples or families.
