And when I go to the airport the next day, another 25 Euros for taxi."

"My husband and I stayed at the Hotel & Bistro Lipa in Nova Gorica for one night, or better for a few hours, after the concert of Cremonini. The welcome has been excellent since the first contact: a few days before we asked for the possibility of arrived very late and they replied with great willingness that there would be no problems. Because of the difficulty of getting out of the concert's park, we reached far beyond the scheduled time, but despite the late hour we were welcomed with friendliness, professionality and a beautiful smile. The hotel is clean and clean, the breakfast is rich and abundant, and the location is comfortable and easy to reach. Thanks all staff for the kindness and availability shown. We certainly recommend this hotel!"

"When I ask for an upgrade twice and offer to pay for it and the front desk refuses it and the hotel is almost empty, I'm going to leave a bad review. Plain and simple. We paid for upgraded rooms through the entire trip and clearly someone lost the memo. The front desk told us we "were in the best upgraded room". Well, it had a physical key, other rooms had electronic key access, a view of a kids play area and a parking lot and according to the hotel map, definitely not the best they could offer. No closet, all the amenities were not included (you had to buy them), formica finishes. 1* room at best. Bike storage was really great, but I would go to Gorizia and skip Novo Gorica."

"The hotel is located not far from train station. There are local restaurants and shops around. It is pretty quiet area. The rooms are clean and a bit old fashioned. It may be hot in summer time as air conditioning is working to slow to cool down the room temperature. Be aware if you have an early flight you may not find any taxi or public transport to the airport and the only option would be to go there by foot. It takes around 1h walk to the airport but pedestrian walk is narrow and not optimal for heavy luggage!"
