This is a very tranquil place to stay, nestled in beautiful hills with some very pleasant nearby towns--in particular, Sicignano degli Alburi. We attended a large family reunion in Sicignano, and Mariangela, our hostess at La Tavernola, was very accommodating, allowing a small family photo exhibit on the premises, while also catering a delicious snack ("an evening under the stars") to finish up the weekend. Our room was charming and airy, with a pleasing view of the countryside. The breakfasts (and other meals that we ordered) were fresh and very tasty. Some ingredients were harvested at La Tavernola, such as olive oil and beans. Her staff was also friendly and gracious. The town of Sicignano has a historic castle and some excellent restaurants, including a pizza cafe on the town's main piazza. We also visited a nearby cave (~25-40 minute drive), Le Grotte di Pertosa-Auletta, which had an underground boat ride for part of its tour.

Wonderful quiet location with views of the mountains! Owner and staff were gracious and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food. Good place to base yourself out of to explore the area, including the ruins at Paestum.

What a fantastic place! Amazing reception from Mariangela and his father that immediately make us feel at home. Great dinner prepared by her with all local products Room is wonderful. Nice bed, nice facility. And impressive how we can listen the sound of silent jn this place. A must return in my bucket list.

Nel nostro cammino verso i Monti Alburni l'incontro con Mariangela è stato tappa fortuita ma provvidenziale. In una torrida giornata dalla seconda metà di Luglio scorso il suo invito a sostare per cercare un po' di riposo e refrigerio sono stati una grande fortuna, nel paio d'ore che abbiamo trascorso a "La Tavernola" abbiamo potuto apprendere alcuni aspetti della storia e delle tradizioni locali, conoscere l'interessante evoluzione della tenuta e quali progetti sociali e culturali vi siano in atto e avere un confronto sulla realtà della zona, a noi poco conosciuta, dissetandoci con la freschissima acqua locale. La tappa, non prevista, a "La Tavernola" è stata davvero provvidenziale e interessante e ci sentiamo di consigliarla ad altri potenziali viandanti. Gruppi AGESCI Genova 12 e 206

Cette chambre d'hôte à la campagne (Agriturismo) est un enchantement. Site grandiose et calme. Maison ancienne avec une partie musée. Hôte très sympathique et prévenante. Repas délicieux. Chambre et salle de bain de très bon niveau, avec meubles rustiques. Une maison familiale chargée d'histoire. Je recommande chaudement

Ottima accoglienza da parte della titolare Mariangela, molto competente. Ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra, siamo rimasti allibiti della quantità e qualità della colazione. Posto immerso nel verde molto rilassante. Sicuramente sarà un punto di appoggio per le future trasferte in Campania. Un ringraziamento da tutto lo staff Gli acrobati della cuccagna.

Un ristoro per il corpo e la mente. Una vera e Propria coccola.Siamo tornati indietro nel tempo grazie alla dolcissima e preparatissima Mariangela. Da eccellente cicerone quale è stata, ci ha fatto riscoprire un territorio così vicino a casa nostra eppure così sconosciuto ai miei occhi. Pernotto ottimo in un miniappartamento adatto a noi 4 (con due bimbi piccoli) e cena km zero da gustare cn tutta la famiglia , accanto ad un focolare scoppiettante. Un giardino molto curato nei piccoli dettagli , da vivere tutto il giorno. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente , un posto che chiameremo casa a Sicignano! GRAZIE ❤️

Eccellente accoglienza della proprietaria che è competente e attentissima agli ospiti. Cura ogni dettaglio per farti sentire a casa. Bel pranzo davanti al camino con prodotti scelti del territorio. Tanto verde intorno e dog friendly. Consigliatissimo
