One word to sum up our two nights here…. Beautiful! This place is unbelievable. Beautiful grounds to walk, wonderful staff, FABULOUS meals and the rooms are gorgeous. The antiques are beautiful and novel. If you’re looking for a tv though, none in the rooms. We were okay with that. We would stay here again!!

Top renovated ancient Hotel/Hacienda (450 years old). Each detail is made with maximum care and love. You could feel the history. Top friendly hosts, super service and support to trips and transports to anywhere. Top meals, amazing. Top wifi.

We had a delightful stay in this beautiful, quiet hacienda. The gardens are lovely and the food is delicious. Its location near the airport is very convenient for early or late flights. Elizabeth and Rafael made us feel so welcome we felt like we were almost in our own home and would love to go back to visit again.

Absolutely fantastic stay there! Such a beautiful place, historic, well maintained, and the staff is 10/10 - I couldn't recommend this place more for your stay in Ecuador!! They really do an amazing job keeping the grounds in such perfect condition and the staff go out of their way to help with anything you might need.

This is one of the most amazing places that I have ever stayed! We arrived late and had not had anything to eat so asked Elizabeth if there was anyplace nearby to get a bite. She said there was not but that she could fix us something. My Spanish is not the best, and I thought she said she could make us some chicken soup - perfect! Well I had that all wrong - they made us a three course meal that was beyond amazing! It was one of our favorite meals in Ecuador. And Elizabeth is a food artist (and a lovely woman) - the dishes were simply beautiful. The grounds and buildings/furnishings are gorgeous and there was ample hot water. Many of the rooms and linens are painted with beautiful flowers and birds painted by an artist friend of hers. There is an amazing great room for small events. You definitely feel like you are in the country, but Quito is quite close. Reservations are necessary.

This is one of the most amazing places that I have ever stayed! The 400 year old farmhouse was stunning and the staff was warm, friendly, and just amazing!

Located in Puembo, so close to the Quito Airport, you can include this as an overnight for your flights, or a visit on the way to more Ecuadorian exploring. Or stay here if you do not want to be right in the middle of Quito. Meticulously decorated in a 400 year old farmhouse. Everything is so pretty, and romantic. The rooms have beautiful hand painted walls. The grounds are lovely with plentiful flowers, and rose bushes. Elisabeth is an amazing cook. Be sure to have her cholate helado casero - homemade chocolate ice cream. It is her abuelita's recipe, and I promise you will never have tasted anything so delicious! When I left they were setting up for a wedding, because the property is that lovely!

We loved our stay here at Su Merced and wish it could have been longer. Everything was perfect. The property was beautiful, the owner’s were so friendly and accommodating , the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Quito.

Alojarnos en Casa Hacienda Su Merced fue una grata experiencia, desde la llegada hasta la salida nos sentimos como en casa. La amabilidad y el cariño de Elisabeth nos hicieron sentir bienvenidas y apreciadas. El lugar es espectacular, una hacienda de 450 años, remodelada y llena de lindos detalles. Cada habitación tiene una decoración única. Los jardines son hermosos y muy bien mantenidos. La limpieza de la casa es impecable. El desayuno es exquisito, se ve el amor y el empreño que le pone Elisabeth y su asistente. Recomiendo este alojamiento, es un ensueño!
