Hotel Floresta

Had a fabulous Holiday at Hotel Floresta the staff were pleasant and one in particular think his name was Herbert or hewbert very pleasant gentleman we had a lovely quite apartment hopefully someday we will return Lanzarote is a lovely place to visit....

We have had another great stay at the Floresta, many thanks for the rooms we requested Ulrike, we had a lovely welcome on arrival from Eduardo which started the holiday well. This is a spotless well run hotel rooms are spacious and maid service excellent, our grandchildren love the pool which allows inflatables. A special enthusiastic animation team work hard to entertain all ages their energy is amazing. If your looking for a family holiday this is the place to be, lovely beach nearby and a walk or taxi into puerto del carmen. We will return again hopefully

What a stunning place. The whole hotel is immaculate, the staff work so hard and always have a friendly smile, the rooms are pristine and cleaned every day! The food was amazing so much choice and so fresh! Fresh meat and fish cooked in front of you, paella was the best I’ve ever had! A lot of previous reviews had worried us but this wasn’t the case at all, our children can be quite fussy and they had loads of choice everyday. Staff constantly replenish empty items, the fresh salads were lovely. Breakfast was a real treat with so much choice everyday! We didn’t eat out once despite planning too before we came, we just didn’t feel the need! The location is ideal right on the beach and Marcos bar is a must visit also! We had a pool view apt near the smaller kids pool and it was perfect for us so quiet with a huge balcony and a stunning view! Lanzarote skies are beautiful! It’s our first visit to this lovely island and we always say we don’t do the same place twice, but floresta ticked so many boxes that were already planning our next trip there!

Family of 2 adults & 2 children (ages 8 & 15) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Rooms were spacious & clean, actually nicer than the pictures. Some peeling on the tiles in the bathroom and the kitchen units need upgrading but that had 0 effect on the enjoyment of our holiday. We were in block F with a main pool view which was a great position. Water takes 5 minutes to warm up in the shower. There was air con if needed & fans in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy. I enjoyed the food, was slightly worried when I saw that the buffet was quite small but they actually had a great variety of food. We had 3 theme nights while there (Chinese, Mexican & Italian) which were very enjoyable. Nuggets & chips available every day for the kids if needed. My partner wasn’t too keen on the food offered. It was typical all inclusive buffet food. Good variety of drinks served but I’ve had much better cocktails at other hotels. The pool bar did burgers, hotdogs etc as snacks in the afternoon which was a great addition. There was entertainment on every night starting with the kid’s disco. The guy doing the disco & comparing also did activities during the day and was very engaging, definitely good at his job. The girl doing the kids club had just started and was very quiet, hopefully she’ll grow into her role. The bar was pretty much empty by 11, so not the hotel for you if you’re a party animal. The pool was great (but saltwater) really deep in the middle and shallow at the edges, great for swimming. Inflatables are allowed. There was a separate baby pool in the main area and another pool in the other area of the hotel. The location was excellent. 2 minutes to the beach & 2 minutes to the shops. We went to the bar round the corner on a few nights (Marcos) which was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the receptionists had a lot to deal with as there was often only one of them on shift at a time. But even then there were very helpful and polite. Loads of British & Irish families were staying when we visited over half term and everyone was having a good time. I feel like the Floresta was good value for money and would recommend it to families.

Absolutely spotless room and a lovely size. Plenty of sunbeds and lots of room round the main pool. Beach is a short walk with a few shops. Food was fine always something for my fussy husband. Evening entertainment was not for us. Lovely relaxing holiday. We will definitely be back !

We chose the hotel after visiting Hotel Costa last year which was amazing, but we wanted bigger pools for the kids. The room was a 1 bed apartment which was clean and had a good size room for 2 kids. The pools were fantastic and there were good pool snacks available. The kids loved playing pingpong and football whilst we enjoyed a drink from the bar. We had a small issue in our room that was fixed promptly! Staff on reception were helpful ! The only thing I would mention was the food, especially as a vegetarian it was quite limited. Also one night we didn't get offered drinks and the waiters were too busy to get there attention. It wasn't the end of the world as we got a drink somewhere after. I did think that the staff at dinner could be a bit more friendly , but that's just a small thing and I appreciate that were busy. Everything else was fab and I would definitely recommend.

Just enjoyed 11 nights at he Floresta. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival requesting the location of our room and was very pleased that we received everything we asked for, thank you so much. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean by the hard working staff with rooms cleaned throughout every day. The rooms are very spacious, although the kitchen area is small and not many utensils, but not a problem for as we ate out and were able to make a cuppa. . The TV in the room had a good selection of British Chanels. WiFi was very good The power shower over the bath always had hot water and towels were changed every day. Plenty of plug points throughout the apartment. We stayed on a B & B basis because we like to experience the many local bars and restaurants in the area so can only comment on breakfast. There was an excellent selection of hot and cold food and fruit. My only criticism (and it is a minor one) would be that the dining room isn’t really big enough for the size of the hotel giving a cramped and very noisy meal at popular times. We ended up dining as late as possible to enjoy a quieter environment. There is an abundance of sun beds and we never had a problem finding one. The hotel is well located for the beach and there is a handy Spar shop just over the road. Thank you to all your staff who were always friendly and made us feel very welcome

A lovely hotel but let down by the noise transfer in the rooms/apartments. All you can hear day and night is people talking/walking around/using the bathroom/kids crying in the adjoining rooms - from upstairs and both sides! Great location, pool, food, sunbeds etc, but it is impossible to get a decent night sleep!
