Casa Carmen

We had such a fun trip and stay at the Casa Carmen. The pool was such an amazing quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the vacation. It was perfect. The only areas of opportunity were 1) the check-in process, which was a mess. We had no one show us around the property, provide any useful information, nor were multiple rooms air conditioners and/or fans. 2) the check-out process was not informed prior but it includes waiting around for a maid to check the place out, gathering every remote, and every key (which we had left where the hotel has originally left then for us). 3) the beds are rock hard. During our stay we selected chef services which lead us to meet two amazing people, Chef Jamie, and Juan Pablo. They were the highlight of our trip and if you have the chance to meet them then you are very lucky. There were fantastic and we really fell in love with them. We would absolutely stay again but the check-in and check-out process is certainly frustrating.

It's a party house, but it wasn't used that way. Felt like an authentic Mexican house with two floors and an open area in the middle with a private pool. Sick rooftop, AC in every room. Wi-fi was fast! Streaming, Zoom calls no problem. Rooms were clean, but the shared area could've been better. Stains on every couch cushion. Location was great! Steps from the ocean. Oxxo next door. Starbucks across the street and McD's a block away. The good restaurants are a bit far though. Overall very nice!

Made us change hotels due to maintenance issues. However was upgraded to a wonderful room at another Hotel they owned with a killer view.

Beautiful boutique hotel quietly tucked away in the busy part of town near all the action but private enough to feel like you’re not in the middle of the mayhem. Beautiful large room, great water pressure, great AC.

Cute little hotel in central area. Good for spending time in the malecon and central area.
