I chose this hotel for a wedding, and it felt really good. It's a bit more expensive than the all-inclusive package in Cancun, but the service is pretty good. The only downside is that this hotel is not big, but you can make reservations for high-end dinners. Overall, it's still good. If you are young, recommend the luxury one-bedroom, very quiet, and the facilities are very new.

The hotel is average. people are very nice.
food quality at all Restaurants are very poor. the meat that is used is very poor quality at the Italian, Mexican, Japan restaurants, don't waist time and wat there. the Buffet has the most decent food. the others are not worth the time. the Alcohol drinks are very cheap quality. all none brand cheap quality and don't taste good at all. swiming pool is nice and clean, good area close to downtown within 20 minutes walk or 7 minutes taxi ride for 80 Pesco. Beach is hard to swim at because of all the rocks. over all is good but I have stayed at better places there before.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and our expectations were beyond exceeded. The food and drinks were amazing, so many dining options and restaurants. The whole staff was great, kind and very helpful. They do daily activities and we didn’t get bored at all. We highly recommend this hotel for any family/friends trip. We loved it and would definitely come back!

My husband and I came here as a quick 4 night get away. We were not sure what we were getting into because check in was a little rough and difficult to communicate with. It was mainly a mis communication and not enough information when questions were asked. After the check in we had no real issues, we were not expecting the best and the service was great. The balcony door we had was broken and would not lock but we used the patio chairs in the track to lock the door when we would leave. Normally I wouldn't care but our patio has easy access from the neighbor. The restaurants were great, I had no food complaints and we got the "VIP" access with ******* and were able to book the restaurants every night. People we talked to have been coming to this place for years and do say that the food has gone downhill. But no concerns from us, The beach does have people selling stuff constantly I would not recommend sitting here all day as we had so many people approaching us with only being out there a couple hours. The resort is by a market to shop around at and we felt very safe looking around.

Unfortunately the week we went was crappy rainy weather. Canto De Sol actually was better than we expected. The buffet was average, but the restaurants within the resort we ate at were actually really good. The worst part of the trip was the lack of sleep. The side of hotel with public beach access is loud as hell. There’s some older man and woman on the side earlier in the AM with a table set up being loud as heck with some of there locals. It would be nice if they could get that under control. And the halls are horribly loud with doors slamming. Not sure if it was guests or the cleaning staff.

Very limited selection of beverages. Bartenders had premium liquors but did not want to serve them rather sell it to you. Ridiculous. Serving all these unknown nasty brands.

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite, which was very spacious. This is an older property, so you need to be prepared for things like visible cut marks in the ceiling, rubber drain stoppers on a chain, etc., but you could see the efforts with staff to keep the property clean. Both showers had a very slow drain - by the time I finished, the water was past my ankles in the tub. There were intermittent high pitched squealing sounds which I think was from when another unit used their water/shower; and construction/banging noises on multiple early mornings. Overall, the food and service was good - very friendly staff. Location is excellent - easy to get to town and the marina. If you like spas/massages, there are about 8 of them located within the resort property and very reasonably priced.

My stay was for 9 days and a total of 6 of us (4 adults 2 children) we got a two bedroom suite. Their staff members are super lovely and nice, from check in to the bartenders to the waiters and the room service, however, the rooms are severely lacking some basic functions and in need of a desperate update. The first thing that go my attention right away was the balcony door was iffy and you had to play with it to get it to lock right. Then the window to of one of the bedrooms had a stick to keep it closed because that lock didn’t work at all. The other thing that got to me a bit was the toilet. You couldn’t flush it more than twice in a 30min time period or your business wouldn’t flush at all. Also, I’m pretty sure someone peed the pull out couch because every now and then there would be a stench of urine coming from the couch it was almost too disgusting to sit on it and good thing we didn’t need it. Besides the room, everything was clean and presentable, all of the bathrooms around the facility and the pools were kept up very well. The food was mediocre but it was free with our all inclusive stay so I can’t complain. The drinks were made to order and they were fast. All in all I had a great time but would choose a different hotel for my next visit.
