The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

If your looking for a place to fully immerse yourself in Greek culture in The Peloponnese then this collection of 4 properties is where you want to be. The Romanos has everything you need from outdoor activities golf, tennis and biking to lounging at one of the countless pools or the beach and plenty of delicious restaurant options from gourmet dining to street food. Then there’s the incredible staff that was so gracious and helpful in every department. Vincent at the bell stand went above and beyond to make sure we got everywhere in the resort effortlessly and safe. Evgenia at Armyra Restaurant was lovely and suggested several fantastic day trip options by car including Voidokilia Beach and Polyliminio Waterfalls. There’s also The Castle of Methoni nearby to visit. Efthisia at the guest reception and Sofia at the concierge were also very helpful. Then there’s the Amanzoe Spa (a must visit while you’re there) and it’s talented staff of therapists Tanya Gianna & both Maria’s. If that’s not enough take the shuttle over to the brand new W Resort or the soon to open Mandarin Oriental (Both looked gorgeous) and enjoy the amenities and all to be offered there. Finally you can also take a short drive to the quaint little seaside towns of Gialova and have lunch at Elias 🔥 or to Pylos for an authentic Greek dinner at Koukos Wine Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ run by a local family.

Being a regular customer at Costa Navarino I would like to share my experience at Romanos A Luxury Collection. I must say I am a huge fan!!! I always have a great time, in this 5-star hotel. Love everything about it. The rooms,the environment, the high quality services...I must mention a few people who made our last (for the moment) stay unforgettable: Mr Achilleas Spyrou, Mrs Anastasia Alexopoulou (my personal fairy and new friend!), Maro, the personnel in the restaurants and on the beach...I am grateful to each and everyone of you!!!! We stayed at the Romanos for a golfing holiday for a week at the beginning of October and had the most amazing time. It is pure luxury from start to finish.The initial welcome from concierge and reception staff set the tone for the week.All the staff were fantastic- from reception,restaurant staff,cleaning to all the golf club employees.Over and beyond all expectations.Special mention to Myrsini in reception who was brilliant and Maro Dalli in guest relations who ensured our stay was as perfect as possible. Accommodations were luxurious with lovely views.Breakfasts were a feast with all palates catered for. The resort is vast with numerous restaurants and bars with a lovely beach 100 metres away but gets deep very quickly and waves quite choppy so care required. Dunes is on-site-excellent,Bay 20 minutes away -also excellent.Hills and Olympic very good -25 minutes away.Transfers provided. Would have been nice to have some traditional Greek Music/dancing in the evenings as generally very quiet. This is a superb venue and we will hopefully return in the very near future. Just perfect Beautiful location .excellent service . The rooms are clean and spacious and the variety of eateries is varied so good to be able to have choice . Golf course stunning and staff are more than helpful,easy access to the beach with nice beach bar with food .

First things first - This place is heaven on earth! From the location, atmosphere, culture & staff Costa Navarino’s The Romanos is a 10/10. Not only did we have the absolute BEST stay any couple could imagine but we were also provided with unconditional help during our wedding preparations & after. A BIG THANK YOU is owed to the friendly staff and most especially Ms. Maro Dalli for making our stay ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL! On August 26th 2023 my husband I got married in beautiful Pylos, Messinia. The month leading up to the big day, we were in constant communication with Maro & the guest relations team. They were very responsive, paying attention to every detail and need we had making this a smooth process. From coordinating guests, to our wedding car and vans - it was seamless! This was our second stay at The Romanos & we booked the STUNNING ocean view balcony room for the days surrounding our wedding. Between The Romanos and The W - our wedding guest from overseas can also attest to an incredible experience with Costa Navarino! Not only did we have a great room to celebrate our special day, but all the staff was fully aware of our wedding and treated us like absolute royalty. They made sure that if there was anything that we might need or need help with, they were there to ensure everything was perfect. They would also give us an occasional telephone ring to see if we needed anything throughout the day and the following day as well. THANK YOU! Again, so much appreciation & a massive THANK YOU to Maro for treating us with champagne, chocolates, flowers, balloons, and a personalized chocolate mouse cake (DELICIOUS)! You made our experience unforgettable! Can’t wait to come back!!!

It's difficult to believe that this hotel has been open for 12 years and managed to stay a secret. It is undeniably set on one of the most beautiful, unspoilt beaches in Europe and run by the most incredible people. There is a good choice of restaurants although it is advisable to make a booking which can easily be done, on-line before your holiday or during your stay. Our favourites were Kooc ( Greek) and Onuki ( Japanese). If you are not sure what to order there is always a helpful member of staff to advise. Make sure you head to the Anax lounge for delicious cocktails made with local ingredients whilst you watch the beautiful sunsets. We had a fabulous room with its own pool which overlooked the Ionian Sea - what more could anyone want? A special mention goes to Angelos Adamopoulos (guest relations agent) who certainly went out of his way to ensure our stay was simply 'perfect' and we would like to say a huge 'thank you' to you and all of your team. We look forward to our next stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great golf. Good food. Good wine. If you can, get a room with a private pool for extra comfort. Nothing bad here, just perfect luxury. Daytime activities include; golf, tennis, bike trips, pool, beach and plenty of other outings. In the evening enjoy a drink and a cigar I. The anax lounge with a view you will not forget.

After my visit To Romanos, i would like to mention the Kindness and the professional attitude of Anastasia from the Guest relations department! I was a visitor from the W hotel and Anastasia Welcomed me, after our talk about the resort the facilities and the culture of the resort she took me for a tour around the hotel showing and explaining me everything! She even took me to the Tennis cortes! The whole experience was amazing! With this review i would like to thank her for her time she spent with me in a busy period and i’m looking forward seeing her next year! Oh forgot she gave me also a great present, it was a box with local things (Pasteli, Sweet olive etc)! That was a great move!

The hotel offers absolutely perfect 5***** accommodation, perfect meals in many hotel's restaurants and the hotel services are the best of the best I have ever experienced in my life. We combined accommodation with golf, there are 4 golf courses near the hotel in perfect condition (September 2023). I especially appreciate the impeccable and totally professional approach of the Guest Relations Agent (Ms. Maria Dalli) who ensured that our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect !!! I totally recommend the hotel and the services and specially thank again to Ms. Maria Dalli (Guest Relations Agent) for her human approach and perfect /professional support !
