"Found Pension Bergbach to be a perfect fit. Better value than staying right in Berchtesgaden and for us a perfect location. Convenient enough to do anything on the area like Eagle Nest and Koenigsee. Ideal for those who enjoy hiking. One of the 2 best restaurants we’ve experienced so far in Germany a five minute walk away. Free parking on site. Great breakfast to start the day. The host is incredibly passionate, kind, informative, and accommodating. The Wimback hike is right across the road and that area is a launching area for many hikes in the National Park. So the convenience is exceptional. Had one of the best sleeps of our trip so far as well!"

"Just had the most lovely holiday. A beautiful part of the world offering great hiking over snow clad mountains and clear lakes. Incredible attention to detail in the hotel. Food was delicious and local and I feel very healthy (though a few pounds heavier!) The beds were so cosy and I don't remember sleeping so well. The spa was just divine. All staff were a credit to the hotel and so friendly and welcoming."
