Typical for a budget hotel separated from the highway by two parking spaces. One night the hot water was gone so I had to take a cold shower. Coffee and hot water was provided which was very nice. Front office staff was pleasant and helpful.

Good location and price. There was a problem with the boiler room and water heater. My room did not have hot water, which mgmt knew was before assigning the room. The problem was handled by changing my room. But this could have been avoided by not assigning me to that particular room in the first place.

Checkin was quick and efficient, all thanks to Maget at front desk.
I got a 1 queen size bed (room} with no frills like a microwave or refrigerator, but they have those rooms here as well. Per usual, it was clean and comfortable, and the heater worked overly well.
I stay here at least once a week, and am always happy with my family here at Motel 6 Rancho Mirage!

key did not work, was locked out of the room, in very cold weather, for 20 minutes waiting for attendant to return to get a key reprogrammed. room did not look like it was cleaned prior to stay, specifically bathroom area.

When we entered the room it smelled of urine and the bathroom smelled of vomit. There was no fridge nor an iron/ironing board. The bed was comfortable, at least.
